Okay so I just wanted to clear a few things up.
Omar lost his parents at the age of 8. He was raised my a natural born Muslim mom and a convert dad. So he was born Muslim. His parents died and so his uncle raised him with his wife Layla. Uncle Josh is also a convert so is aunt Layla. Even tho Omar is a born Muslim he didn't know much about Islam since when his uncle adopted him uncle Josh was not Muslim neither was his wife (aunt Layla), but uncle Josh respected Omar's parents religion so he kept Omar on Islam. With minor things like not eating pork, no dating, watching Islamic videos here and there. But Omar overall didn't know much.
