time skips to the end of their exams,
3rd person pov

"YES EXAMS ARE FINALLY OVER!" jinsoul and heejin screamed together as they threw their notes up in the air.

"stop being a nuisance." hyejoo said as she walked in front of them with chaewon.

"exactly, stop." sooyoung said and picked up jinsoul's and heejin's notes and threw them at their faces.

"ouch what the fuck sooyoung." jinsoul said and kicked sooyoung's shin.

"oww the fuck." sooyoung said as she rubbed her shin.

"stop it yall." vivi said and picked up heejin's and jinsoul's notes and passed it back to them.

heejin opened her locker and put her notes in the locker before putting in her airpods.

"heejinnnnn" soojin said as she ran towards heejin.

"what's up?" heejin replied.

"i got appointed as captain in the dance club!" soojin exclaimed and there's a big smiled plastered on her face.

"ah really? im so proud of you!" heejin replied and hugged soojin and soojin returned the hug.

"oh." hyunjin whispered under her breath as she watched from the other side of the hallway, tears threatening to fall.

soojin and heejin have gotten close ever since mr choi changed soojin's seat to beside heejin and heejin has been going out with soojin more often now. she doesn't put in a lot of attention on hyunjin anymore.

the only time they actually talk is at home when hyunjin has no choice but to revise with heejin. during lunch, heejin hangs out with her friend group for awhile and then goes to soojin.

hyunjin felt hurt, really hurt.

[ hyunjin pov ]

i turned away when i felt tears forming in my eyes while watching heejin hugging soojin.

"damn, why doesn't she put her attention in my anymore. am i not good enough as her girlfriend? does she not care about me anymore? why is everything about soojin now? what happened to 'i will never leave you' ?" i thought as i looked at the ring on my finger which is not on heejin's finger anymore.

i look at the bracelet on my wrist, luckily heejin still wears that bracelet.

"did soojin just stole my girlfriend away from me?" i mumbled under my breath and scoffed.

i decided to walk back and saw that they were all talking and hanging out at the hallways of the lockers. heejin seems especially happy beside soojin.

i felt like as if my whole world is break apart. i felt tears falling from my eyes, i quickly wipe the tears away and breathed in and out. i looked up to prevent anymore tears from falling and walked towards them.

"hey guys." i said.

"hi love." heejin said as she pats the space beside her. i sat beside her and she puts her head on my shoulder.

i saw from my peripheral vision of soojin looking down and sighing after heejin puts her head on my shoulder. i lean my head down, making my head rest on top of heejin's.

heejin interlocked our hands as she closed her eyes and sighed.

"what's wrong?" i whispered.

"nothing, i think i fucked up my paper." she said as she sigh again.

"it's fine princess, you did well, im proud of you." i said as i gently rubbed the back of heejin's hand with my thumb.

"look at that lovey dovey couple." yerim said and everyone looked at heejin and me.

"shut up." heejin said and they just laughed.

"imma go now. see you guys tomorrow." soojin said as she stood up.

"byee." heejin said as she waved to soojin.

"bye soojin." they said and soojin waved back.

"wanna have lunch together after school?" i asked.

"soojin asked me to have lunch with her at the mall though, do you wanna come with us?" heejin replied.

"um.. sure i guess.." i said.

'damn i wanted alone time with you.. aigh whatever, we live in the same house anyways..'

"anyways im gonna go now, it's science and soojin's my partner, can't leave her alone. bye!" heejin said as she pecks my lips and ran away.

"have-" i haven't even completed my sentence but she already ran off.

after school, heejin pov

"heejin hurry!" soojin said as i was rushing to copy down the answers.

"wait wait wait." i said, eyes fixated on my notes, trying to write faster while soojin taps the table.

"ok! im done!" i said as i handed in our work.

"oh by the way, hyunjin's coming to eat lunch with us." i added.

"oh, okay." soojin replied and went to pack her things.

at the mall

im walking in the middle, holding hyunjin's hand with her on my right and soojin on my left.

"so what do you guys wanna eat?" i asked, breaking the awkward tension.

"anything, you choose." soojin replied and took out her phone.

"what bout' you love, what'd you wanna eat?" i asked as i turned to face hyunjin.

"im fine with anything, baby." hyunjin replied, emphasising on the 'baby' for some reason.

"how bout kbbq? there's one in this mall that's good, been there with jinsoul." i said and they agreed so we went to eat kbbq.

while eating, i was just trying to break the awkward tension between soojin and hyunjin.

hyunjin just kept glancing and glaring at soojin while soojin is trying to avoid hyunjin's gaze. did they fight or something? they aren't that close though. what's going on.
