"hyunnie." heejin mumbled and i looked up from my phone to see her slowly trying to get up from the bed. i held onto her to help her up.

"here, drink some water." i said as i passed her a glass of warm water.

"what time is it?" heejin asked, after swallowing her water.

"11.30pm" i said and heejin nodded.

"i wanna go skateboarding." heejin stood up from the bed but i pulled her down.

"no, dont. you're sick, don't go anywhere, stay here, lie down here and rest until you're better." i instructed.

"but i am okay." heejin says as she sat down on the bed, facing me.

"no you are not okay. just lie down and sleep." i said and pushed heejin back to her lying down position.

"can we cuddle?" heejin asks bluntly.

"since when did you liked cuddling." i frowned and heejin chuckles.

"since the day i've met you." heejin said and i jokingly groaned.

"you really do act like a baby when you're sick, just like what hyejoo said." i said as i lay down. heejin rolls over to my side and side hugged me.

"im not a baby." heejin replied defensively.

"you're hugging me like a koala right now heejin." i said and heejin hugs me tighter. "haseul said we shouldn't hug or have physical contact. so go away until you're better." heejin groans as she rolled back to her side of her bed and huffed.

"i can't sleep, i slept for the entire afternoon to 11.30pm and you want me to sleep now? hell nah." heejin said. god why is she acting like a little child who doesn't want to sleep because she wants to play her games or go skateboarding.

"you're sick, so you should sleep more."

"i wanna get coffee." heejin said as she took her phone but i snatched her phone away.

"hey! give me back my phone!" heejin yelled slightly.

"no. you won't be getting any coffee. just go to sleep."i said.

"i'll only sleep if you cuddle with me." heejin says with a teasing tone.

"fuck you. fine, i trust my immune system." i said and she happily rolled to my side and hugged me. she snuggled her face into my chest and damn she's so damn cute. i pat her head and went to sleep.

the next day

"heejin, wake up. you okay?" i shook heejin up.

"do i look okay to you?" heejin asked, rubbing her nose because of the flu she was having.

"goddammit jeon heejin."

"no i will not be going to school today." heejin said and went under the blankets.

"then don't go to school." i said and picked up my bag.

"you're not gonna stay with me? you aren't gonna take care of me?" heejin asks and i bent down and put my palm on heejin's forehead.

"you're not having a fever anymore." i said.

"since when was your palm a thermometer." heejin said and i took out thermometer and put it into her mouth, the thermometer beeped after a minute and i took out the thermometer and looked at the temperature, 37.4°C .
