FLASHBACK, hyunjin's pov

i suddenly received a text from someone unknown and when i tapped into it, its heejin's father. he's asking me to go to his office, but without heejin knowing. i wonder why.

i made up an excuse and told her i was going to hangout with chanhee.

i reached the company and i went into heejin's dad office, i felt really nervous.

"hyunjin-ssi." minhyun said.

"y-yes..?" i stuttered.

"have a seat." minhyun said and used his hands to point to the seat infront of him.

"so.. i heard you're dating my daughter?" minhyun said.

"yes mr jeon.."

"im gonna be really straightforward with this," minhyun said and looks at me with his hands infront of him, "break up with her."

"what? no way!" i exclaimed and minhyun chuckled.

"i knew you wouldn't. how bout' this, i give you 100 million won, break up with her by the end of this week." minhyun said and i stared at him with a shocked expression.

"but why? why should i break up with your daughter? i love heejin, i really do mr jeon, i really do love her a lot." i persisted.

"no no, you don't get it, just break up with her, it'll make your life easier rather than sitting here debating with me." minhyun replied.

"no please, mr jeon. i'll never break up with her." i continued.

"hyunjin-ssi. break up with her, it's for her sake. she's taking over this company, and i want her to focus on this company only. i don't want any relationship involve in my company. it's for her sake hyunjin-ssi." minhyun said and i sighed and looks down as i played with my fingers.

"ok.." i hesitantly replied.

"that's the spirit hyunjin-ssi. i'll transfer you 100
million won now." minhyun said and i slowly nodded.

"you may leave now, remember, by the end of this week." minhyun said and i just walked out of his office.

END OF FLASHBACK

"kim hyunjin!" changmin called out as he snapped his fingers infront of my face.

"what's up?" i asked as i looked at him with a confused expression.

"you okay? you've been staring into space for the past 10 minutes." changmin asked. im currently living with chanhee and changmin after i moved out of heejin's house.

"thinking about her again?" chanhee asks as he sat beside me.

"it's been two years hyun." chanhee added and i just sighed.

"whatever." i said, "im gonna take a nap." i walked to my room and slept for awhile.

time passed

i woke up with many notifications from my phone. it was from aunt. i recently got closer to my cousin, minju and so i got closer to her side of family too. aunt and i have a special bond. she's like my mother..
