Chapter 19. First tour show.

That evening Rapunzel snapped into reality. She was sitting in her own dressing room getting ready to perform in front of thousands. Not forgetting to mention, she was the opening act for Ed Sheeran. She fumbled around with the professional makeup in front of her, memories of when she was younger flooded back...
~Flashback~
Rapunzel sat perched on her mothers dressing table chair. Her clumsy fingers dabbled in the powders.
"I'm going to look pretty like mommy!" She squealed as she spread lipstick over her mouth. Just then her mother glided through the door, her silk robe flowing behind.
She glanced at Rapunzel and smiled gently.
"Awe, sweetheart! You look splendid." She cooed. She lifted her daughter up and placed her on her lap. Rapunzel's mother began to stroke her blonde hair and sing a sweet song.
"Flower gleam and glow, Let your power shine." She sang beautifully.
"Make the clock reverse, bring back what once was mine.." Rapunzel joined in.
"What once was mine...." They sang together.
"Mommy, I want to be a singer just like you when I'm older." Rapunzel announced as she snuggled into her mothers warm chest.
~present day~
She smiled to herself and continued to apply her makeup. After she was done, Rapunzel proceeded to get ready for the show, she picked out a light orchid pink flowy maxi dress with floral accents around the top. She brushed her long hair and pinned half of it up and added a flower crown. Suddenly someone knocked on the door and shouted.
"Ten minutes to showtime Corona!" They informed loudly. She finalised any makeup and patted down her dress before gracefully exiting her dressing room. Nervously, Rapunzel stood back stage amongst the rushing stage hands, Punzie jumped as she felt a cool hand rest on her shoulder, she spun around and her eyes widened in shock.
"You'll be fantastic out there Rapunzel, you have an incredible voice." Said the man himself, Ed Sheeran. She only managed to stutter a meek thank you before he strided away.
"You're on Rapunzel!" The director Announced. In an instant she was ushered in staged. A sudden urge of confidence rushed through Punzie as she took centre stage. The audience cheered loudly and in the front row sat her three best friends who were actually standing on their chairs. She waved to the crowds and the music started.
