Hiccup woke up abruptly the next day with Merida curled up in his arms. Quietly, he reached over Merida to grab his phone out of his jeans pocket. He had one hour until first class. Hiccup moved slowly, carful to not wake Merida up. He scribbled down a note on a piece of paper and kissed her head softly. And with that he was gone.

Rapunzel hummed sweetly from inside the bathroom, Anya brushed her deep red hair and pulled on a beanie as Merida began to wake up.
"When did you guy get here?" She yawned.
"About half an hour ago, we stayed in the boys room last night and played video games." Anya replied. Merida nodded in response but was slightly disappointed that Hiccup had left before she had woken. She stood up and got ready for the day ahead without seeing the note.

Hiccup hurried along the path through the quad. Almost there! He thought to himself. But he was stopped harshly in his tracks as someone outstretched their arm in front of him to halt Hiccup.
"Not so fast Haddock." An irritated voice said from beside him.
Hiccup gulped and turned to face the person.
"H-hello Hans." Hiccup mumbled nervously.
"Have you been thinking over our offer?" Hans questioned.
"Yes I have been thinking." Hiccup stood up straighter feeling a little braver.
"Well?!" Hans snapped impatiently.
"I deject your offer Hans." Hiccup said coldly.
"Shame." Hans said with a sarcastic drawl. "But really you had no choice." Two more men emerged from beside Hans and grabbed Hiccup's arms.
"Let's go." Hans commanded. The men dragged Hiccup by his arms behind them whilst Hans lead the way.
