Chapter 15. E-E-Ed who now?!

Test week was almost over at the college. Pretty soon the sweet freedom of the 11 week summer break would be upon the students.
Jack was stressing over the tests so much he didn't sleep for more than a couple of hours each night. Merida and Hiccup studied most nights in the library together and Rapunzel helped Jim and Anya.

Jack stumbled into his dorm room sleep deprived. He shuffled over to his bed and flopped on top of it.
"Good night Hic." He mumbled. Hiccup sat at his desk and chuckled.
"Night Jack." He choked back a laugh.
Merida, Anya and Punzie were gathered in the library studying for their final test if the week. The time was slowly approaching midnight and they were almost done.
"We are gonna ace this test!" Merida said, fist pumping the air.
"Hey Anya, do you have any plans for the summer break?" Punzie asked as she flipped through her text book.
"Actually I do. I'm going to visit my Grandma in Russia." She smiled.
"Aweee!" Punzie cooed. "I love old people! They're so sweet." She giggled. Merida slowly turned to face Punzie almost horrified.
"Okay then..." She mumbled, her eyes wide. Merida's head snapped back to her folder and gave it one last glance. "Right ladies! I think we are done now!" She chirped.
"Yay!" Rapunzel clapped.
"Whoop whoop!" Anya pretended to have a little party by herself. The girls packed away their things and left the library.
~~~The next day after the test~~~
Merida burst out of the door to the exam hall and dramatically pretended to kiss the floor.
"FREEDOM!!!" She cried tunefully. Hiccup stood beside her chuckling before eventually pulling her up.
"No kisses for me?" He pouted. Merida stuck out her tongue playfully and began to run down the steps into the quad.
"You'll have to catch me first!" She called back to him. Hiccup strided forward, his long legs carried him faster than Merida's short ones carrying her. Quickly he caught up with her and grabbed her around the waist. Merida spun around and punched Hiccup's chest lightly.
"Oi! Cheeky!" He smirked. Merida snorted with laughter before being pulled into a passionate kiss. Merida wrapped her arms around Hic's neck and smiled into their kiss.

Casually, Rapunzel and Jack strolled around campus hand in hand enjoying the warm summer air.
"I can't wait for us to spend summer together! Just us for once." Jack sighed happily.
"Mm I know!" Rapunzel nodded eagerly. They crossed the quad and continued down the path to the public park. Punzie skipped over to the swings and perched on top of one, Jack appeared behind her and started to push her high into the air. She squealed like a little kid as Jack chuckled from behind.
"J-Jack! Stop I'm gonna fall!" She cried whilst still laughing. Jack let go of the swing and let it slow down. He sat on the one next to Punzie and watched her.
They chatted on the swings for a while about college, worries and future.
"Right now...I don't know what's going to happen." Rapunzel sighed.
"Well you're obviously gonna get mega famous!" Jack encouraged. She rolled her eyes playfully and he stuck out his tongue.
Just then Rapunzel's phone began to ring.
"Anna! Heyo!" She answered cheerily.
"Greetings oh famous one!" Anna mocked playfully. Punzie chuckled.
"So what's up?" Punzie asked with a smile.
"Oh only Ed Sheeran wants you to go on tour with him as the support act." Anna said with a monotonous voice. Rapunzel was silent for a second and Jack stared at her blankly.
"E-E-Ed who now?!" Punzie said croakily.
"You know who Ed Sheeran is don't you..?" Anna said confused.
"Yes! He wants to perform with...me?" Rapunzel pointed to herself.
"YES!" Anna cried excitedly. Once again, Punzie was silent.
"OH. MY. GOD. I ACCEPT!!!" She screamed. Jack looked at her even more confused. Rapunzel and Anna hung up, Punzie turned to Jack before hysterically crying.
"J-J-Jack..Ed Sheeran wants to perform with me!" She said almost disbelieving. Jack's eyes widened and a huge smile cracked across his face.
"Punze that's spectacular!" He congratulated her but a look of concern filled his eyes. He watched Rapunzel with worry now pasted to his face. She clenched her fist to her chest, her skin turned a sickly shade of grey and her breathing was sped up.
Not again! She internally screamed. Not with Jack watching! Rapunzel's vision blurred before the world began to spin and then all at once everything was dark....
