Only five more minutes Merida, you can do it. Merida whispered to herself as she scribbled down notes during her class. Those agonising five minutes passed and Merida shoved her notes into her bag before running out of the hall.
She walked along the main street of the campus where all the hipster coffee shops were. She plugged in her ear buds and began listening to her music. Halfway home to her dorm Merida noticed a girl creeping along the side of two buildings. Merida's eyes followed the mysterious girl as she slipped into the alley beside the dorm blocks. Curiosity overwhelmed Merida as she began following the girl into the darkness. The strange girl shuffled behind a large bin before pushing it slightly. Merida crept behind the bin only to find the girl had disappeared. She stepped forward but suddenly found herself falling down concrete steps into a basement.
"The hell?" Merida whispered as she patted her head. Merida stood up and brushed off her black and white stripy trousers before examining her surroundings. She'd fallen down a secret stair case hidden underneath the bin! The room was dark and still, the mysterious girl was no where to be found. Merida fumbled around in her bag searching for her phone. Quickly, she illuminated the room revealing a wooden door on the far opposite wall. Merida sighed deeply as she took a few nervous steps towards the door. Carefully, Merida rested her hand on the cold brass knob and turned it slightly. She pulled open the door a fraction and peered inside. The girl who'd disappeared sat on the floor in a circle with several other people. Each of them were chanting different Latin words that were unrecognisable to Merida.
"DunBroch? What are you doing here?!" Merida whipped her head around and stood in the surrender position.
"Toothiana?!" Merida exclaimed in surprise. "Better yet, what are you doing here?" Merida relaxed slightly by lowering her arms but she was still ready to run if she had to.
"My business is none of your concern." Tooth snapped sharply.
"What is this place?" Merida croaked.
"Billing's basement." Tooth replied shortly.
"Huh?" Merida mumbled confusedly.
"The founder of this college used hold a secret society here, he would only let A Billing in. As a Billing descendant I have decided to continue his legacy...but with a twist." She smiled wickedly.
