Chapter 30. The End.

~5 years later~
Rapunzel and Jack's wedding party was well under way. The two twenty-three year olds danced wildly on the dance floor to the booming music; Rapunzel's Ivory dress flowed delicately behind her.
Suddenly, two twin fiery haired five year olds joined the bride and groom on the dance floor.
"Uncle Jack!" Alexia squealed as Jack picked up the little girl.
"Hey there!" He chuckled. Rapunzel lifted up the other child, Harry.
"Where's your mommy and daddy?" Rapunzel questioned as she tickled the little boy's tummy. Just then Merida bounded up to them, her wild red curls bouncing along behind, Hiccup followed closely behind looking flustered.
"Where did you go?" Jack laughed as he examined Hiccup.
"No-Nowhere..." Hiccup stuttered awkwardly. Rapunzel glanced at Merida and gave her a disapproving look.
"Whhhaaaattt?" Merida blushed.
The newly married couple places the twins on the floor and began dancing again.

Around about midnight, people started leaving, each congratulating Mr and Mrs Frost once again. Once everyone was gone, Punzie and Jack joined Merida, Hiccup and the twins outside; they were sitting on the bonnet of Hiccup's car.
"It's had to believe that just five years ago we were all graduating college." Merida sighed.
"Oh gosh, I know. Now look at us, I'm married to Jack, you're engaged to Hiccup and you have twins!" Rapunzel exclaimed. The four of them laughed lightly.
"Honestly, I never thought I'd be here with you guys, thinking back to when I first met you all I was the weedy nobody." Hiccup reflected. The others nodded.
"But you've been the greatest friend a guy could ask for." Jack said as he slapped Hiccup's back jokingly. Merida and Rapunzel laughed as Hiccup coughed trying to get air back into his lungs.
"So, Punze, you planning on having kids?" Merida asked, turning to her blonde friend.
"Hey! Two way job!" Jack grumbled.
"Maybe one or two." Punzie smiled. Merida nodded in approval before turning to Hiccup.
"Twins is enough for me." She said sternly to Hiccup.
"Nah ah babe! I want a big family." Hiccup teased. Merida scoffed before leaning into Hiccup's chest.
"Maybe..." She yawned.
Jack wrapped his arm around Rapunzel's waist before kissing her cheek lightly.
"I think it's time to go home." He whispered, carefully trying not to wake the twins.
"See you guys soon." Hiccup waved.
~another 5 years later~
The Frost's oldest son, James, held his little sister, Marie's hand as they sat on the bench at the front of the church. Next to James was Alexia and Harry (now ten years old). On Harry's lap was his younger sister Eliza (the same age as Marie). The children watched intently as Hiccup and Merida exchanged vows, Rapunzel was Merida's maid of honour and Jack was Hiccup's best man.
"Merida," Hiccup began his vows. "Ever since I met you when we were fifteen I fell instantly in love. Through the years we have had our troubles but in the end it has made us stronger. I love you Merida DunBroch and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you." Hiccup smiled shyly as his bride, the priest turned to Merida indicating for her to start her vows.
"Honestly Hiccup I could never top that...but I'm gonna try. When I met you I was adamant on never settling down, ever, but as I grew to know you, it's as if you plucked me from this shell I was stuck in. I love you more and more each day and you have made me the person I am, and hey we make great babies!" Merida chuckled as she gestured to their three children. "I love you so much." Merida's voice wobbled. At the side, Rapunzel sobbed softly, a huge grin was plastered to her face. Jack sniffed, trying to choke back the tears, he puffed out his chest trying to look more manly.
"I now pronounce you, husband and wife!" The priest announced. Everyone cheered as Hiccup dipped Merida and kissed her deeply.

It was true, the big four had faced their trials but in the end it made them who they were and without that, where would the big four be?
