Chapter Seventeen: An October Treat

As the September month passes, a new month comes, with chillier weather coming with the new month. As the students of Hogwarts decorate different classrooms with American decorations, and traditional European decorations, the halls were filled with students, in their cozy sweaters and scarfs. (Y/N) being among the many students buzzing with excitement for the upcoming week, speaking with George on all her lans for the season and dance which would be announced in November.

"So I plan on going to the haunted corn field with Niki and Cara, and then we are debating on who else we should bring, then apple picking in a few days." She says, eating Breakfast at the Ravenclaw with a few of her friends there and at other tables.

"That seems interesting! I plan on going to a few places with some of the boys." George says not being real specific.

"What places? Maybe we can meet up with you guys if you are going to the maze." (Y/N) said planning on places to go with friends and acquaintances.

"We are now that I think about, but I think dream said he didn't want to or wasn't in the best condition.

"Oh, that sucks. We could have used his wheezes in the field to enlighten the time there." She says, holding her head with her left hand.

"It's not so bad, Sapnap and Quackity will be there, as well as Karl but I'm not sure who will go and stuff, but I can ask them if you want me to?" George said getting up and grabbing his bag.

"Really! Oh thank you George!" (Y/N) waving bye to him, and joining Niki and Cara, to charms.

"So, did you get George's group to join?" Niki asked, walking next to (Y/N).

"Yes and no. He has to ask the others if they want to, but he says Dream may not come because he hasn't felt the best lately." (Y/N) explains. It was now the second time he wasn't feeling the best, since last September, and now October.

"So, what are both of your plans for the winter holidays?" Cara asked.

"I plan on going back after the dance, and staying there till school is back. My family is having this huge New Year's Eve party, and I can bring a friend or two to stay, and Will is going to be there." (Y/N) said with excitement.

"I plan on staying with my family, and that's about it, since they asked most students go home." Niki says.

"I think my family will be coming to London for a few weeks so I will be seeing them again." Cara said.

"What if you two stayed at mine, and we can invite you families?" (Y/N) threw the question in the air.

"Oh but (N/N), that would be too much to ask from you." Cara said, with Niki nodding.

"Uhm, it's not really that much a problem. Last time at was at the manor, the maids and butlers were out on vacation, plus we have a ton of rooms, and a few have bunks, so we could all be together." (Y/N) said, laughing a little.

"Okay, well we will ask our parents, and you ask yours." Niki said.

"That sounds good." She responded, walking into the charms classroom.

As the day passed on, George told (Y/N) that Karl and Quackity would join them, but may do other things, but Sapnap would go for sure. But dream was still a no. So the plan for the week that was coming up was quite crowded and busy. Monday to Friday there was no school, and Friday would be a small game for the students to do a large scavenger hunt, that would be around the campus, with a prize at the end, finally a smaller version of the Halloween Feast. The festivities would start on on Saturday of this week, and end at the feast. Activists and times would start from ten in the morning till 10 at night for a few things, but of course, how was a student not to become behind in their studies. Simple, each teacher gave a project or assignment to be completed for that specific course. Students that thought smart would finish it in the first day or two, but students that didn't would finish it the night before it was due. So the real question is, what plans did (Y/N) and her friends have for this week. Well, the first two days they would finish their projects and do some research for them. In the mornings (Y/N) and a few of her teammates would practice before going to the festivities. The Wednesday of that week, she would go apple piking with a few of them, and then go for a hay ride. Thursday, she would do the corn maze with a few of them, and Friday she would do a few festivities with them, and possibly sign up for the scavenger hunt or the dueling like game given. Saturday, was more of a relaxing day, for it was the feast on Halloween Eve, that Hogwarts had each year. Sunday on the other hand was a very stressful day. (Y/N) would need to wake up at the crack of dawn for her first quidditch tournament that would be against Slytherin, and she still needed to figure who they were throwing in as the seeker, and make a strategy.
