"Mum do you know where my books are?" asked the teen girl.
"No (Y/N), I didn't see them anytime, if anything they are inside of the library ." Responded her mother from the opposite side of the house.
The girl ran around her house getting the items she needed for her school year at the one of the great Wizardry and Witchcraft schools, Hogwarts, the school located in the United Kingdom. Running to the Library inside of the Manor, the girl found the books she was in need of for the school year. Grabbing the books quickly she put them inside of her trunk and hurried over to her mother, somewhere in the Manor. The books the girl had taken were her own personal books from one of her favorite authors, Newt Scamander, they weren't assigned books but the girl would read them when she needed to escape the reality of the Wizarding World she lived in. Walking out of her room, she walked down the one of many stair cases that her home had, quickly but gracefully as she was taught to at a young age. Once arriving at the last steps, she could see her mother standing near the entrance waiting somewhat impatiently for her daughter. The other night her mother said they would be shopping for her supplies since she needed some parchment, quills, and the other traditional supplies her school offered for the students to have a successful year.
Making sure she didn't look like a dingbat and made herself stand out, she made sure to wear her clothes that were only worn when she went hogsmede. It was quite a simple outfit, a light grey sweater, with some nice black colored trousers, and flats. Her mother had a similar outfit except instead of trousers, her mother wore a light blue skirt that would go down to her ankles and a nice white blouse with a shawl that had the details of small flowers that would move whenever a strong wind or a breeze would blow by making the flowers lose their posture or petals but replace afterwards.
Grabbing her beret off the hat and coat holder, she looked at the mirror and did a small 180 spin admiring her outfit she had put together. Smiling with glee she walked out of the manor and closed the door with the noise of the shut door echoing, as she went to the front of the manor to drive to London.
Hearing the pebbles crunch under her soles of her flats, she walked to the car her parents had in case they needed to visit the muggle world or the Ministry of Magic had given to them since they knew The Fletchers.
"Now remember (Y/N), no tricks up your sleeve otherwise I will be asking your friend, what was his name dear, the one who is the captain for Ravenclaw again?" asked her mum as she turned on the car.
"William mum, we all call him Wilbur for short since he prefers that," said the girl right before she was interrupted by her mother.
"Right Wilbur, if you act up I'm sure he will be watching you since he is after all your older cousin."
"Mum, he is only a couple of months older than me and he a year ahead. Stop thinking he's like an older sibling that's not what I think he can fit even though he does watch over our group of friends." sighing the girl finished with an annoyed look.
Wilbur was (Y/N) older cousin who was about 9 months older than her making her younger than him since he was in his 6th year being in the house of Ravenclaw for his creativity and wits which made him special. Unlike Wilbur, (Y/N) was in her 5th year and the current Keeper for her house and the co captain for her team. Unlike Wilbur (Y/N) could almost be put into any of the houses at Hogwarts but since her father was a muggle born Wizard, the sorting hat thought it do her best to have her in Gryffindor since her Father had been in there and had meet her mother. (Y/N)'s mother was a Slytherin and she had come from a pure blood family, but unlike most of her family she was kind and generous, only being put in Slytherin for being a pure blood. If anything she could be mistaken for a Ravenclaw.
