When mushroom poisoning happens, very few people realize they've been poison. The poisoning starts with it's effects of hallucinations, then vomiting, fever, possible organ failure, and then possible death. (Y/N) woke up with these symptoms at six in the morning the next day. She had gotten no sleep and felt extremely overheated. And her mind felt like it was on a drug ever since she got back from the forest and that time was way past curfew, yet she didn't get caught. Exactly what time did she get back? One in the morning. She didn't realize it was so late and she was in the woods for a solid two hours. Waking up she saw none of her roommates so she imagined they all left to shower. Moving to get her clothes from her nightstand, her body immediately felt loose and was almost still asleep. Groaning at the thought that she was sore from the game yesterday, she stood up and almost fell face first, but caught herself.
"Woah, this is weird." She said to herself as she went downstairs, to shower. Things got more loopy and she started to see things that weren't normal but pushed it aside thinking it was the lack of sleep. Getting out and getting her self dress, she pushed up her long sleeves so the rested just above her elbow, and left her tie lose since it felt more hotter than usual.
"I still need to ask George if the mushrooms were correct. But I can ask him at Herbology maybe." She said, going upstairs to put her dirty clothes away, and to get her bag. Again she was pushing aside the feeling of nausea thinking it was cramps or she was hungry.
"So let me think exactly what happened last night. I got into a fight. Ran away into the forest for at least half an hour or maybe two hours most. I came back at one, nobody was awake and I dropped off the mushrooms so they could be boiled for this week's class. I then woke up and here I am." She mumbled to herself as she made her way to the great hall.
Sitting down and away from her friends, which was something that never happened, she put her head down with a sigh. Everything was weird today, especially since the walls were moving around, and people looked as if they had animal or plant parts attached to them, and everything seemed like she was high on a drug. Hearing someone sit next to her, she sighed more, trying to tell who's shoes it was so she couldn't identify them in the state she was in. Giving up, she looked up to see George and Schlatt.
"What?" She asked squinting at Schlatt's head and George's head.
"You look out of it." George said.
"I'm not out of anything." She said with slightly slurred words.
"Did you get drugged or drink alcohol." Schlatt asked.
"Nope, I did collect mushrooms last night." (Y/N) said.
"Wait, what type of—" George started before getting interrupted.
"When did you get ram horns Schlatt?" (Y/N) said, pointing at his forehead.
"What the heck (Y/N)! I don't have horns, are you saying I'm the devil?" Schlatt asked moving her wrist away.
"But George has mushrooms from all over!" She said moving her hands out wards, and then putting them back on the table.
"(Y/N), what type of mushrooms exactly did you pick?" George asked.
"I don't know. They looked like wild ones to me, but they weren't toadstool mushrooms." (Y/N) said, taking an apple from the bowl of fruits.
"Okay, but do you have them somewhere?" George asked.
"I gave them to Professor Snape. He has them in his classroom." She said, biting to the apple.
"Thank you (Y/N), I'll go see what I can find. I'll see you at Herbology. Schlatt keep an eye on her." George directed as he went to go somewhere else.
