"What?" She asked.
"You heard me. I know who is playing seeker for Slytherin." He said coolly, as if this wasn't huge question Gryffindor had needed for almost a month or more like the last two weeks.
"Well who is it!" She asked, looking at him.
"I don't believe you've met them, but their name is Hannah. She's a fifth year like you and me, and is a chaser for their team, but they chose to move her to seeker position last minute. I hear, she knows a ton of tricks." He said, moving his hands in different directions to explain.
"I've met her, but how are you sure of this Karl. I trust you well, but this is something with my house's reputation of winning the first game of the year, on the line." She said, walking towards the door.
"Wait, but it's true (Y/N)." Karl said.
"How Karl?" she asked.
"I just know!" He said, grabbing her arm.
"Let me go, Karl." She said, looking at his eyes, which held some secret that he wasn't saying.
"Will you just consider that she could be it?" He asked, with pleading eyes.
"I'll consider, can you just let me go so I can go to my dormitory?" She asked.
"Oh yeah, sorry. Well good night." He said in a rushed voice.
"Night Karl." She said, walking back to the one room in the castle she wanted to be in. Her common room.
As the girl opened the painting door, she was treated by laughter and talking.
"Who on earth would be here, at eight at night, and not the festival grounds?" She asked to herself. Suspicion getting the best of her, she continued walking to see two boys in the common room. Sapnap and George. Immediately she was going to yell, but stopped herself. She shouldn't yell, but just ask them her question.
"Hey, Sapnap." She said casually.
"Hey (Y/N)." He responded as she started walking to her dorm to get something.
"What's George doing here?" She asked, begging herself not to laugh, as Sapnap struggled to form words. "Don't worry, I won't tell on you two. I'll be back." she said, laughing at how they both relaxed. As she went to her bedroom, she started to call for her dear pet.
"Callahan? Callahan? Come please!" She called softly. Hearing his soft meows from the corner, he comes out, trotting towards her.
"Hi, there you big guy!" She says picking him up, "Do you wish to meet some new friends?" She asked him, to which he looked very confused at. laughing to herself, she opened the door, from her bedroom and went down to see the two speaking once again.
"Hey." She said, sitting on the velvet chair and putting Callahan on her lap.
"Who's this little guy?" George asked, scratching the cat's neck softly.
"Callahan." She said.
"Oh, so this is the guy you told me about!" Sapnap said petting the cat.
"Yes, the one and only. Although, Orion and him sometimes get along." She said.
"How old is he?" Sapnap asked looking at the cat.
"Four, and he'll be five in a few months or rather a year." She said, "So what are your guys' plan for tomorrow, maybe I'll be there."
"We're planning to stay in and relax a little, you know, after the tragic events of tonight?" George said.
"I'm going to practice at the quidditch court, go down to the lake, don't know really." She said, listing things that she did over on weekends.
