"Finally, we get to take a break!" Rii says stretching.

A few months have passed since we started our adventures. Snow started falling and the coolness of Gargolas was nothing like Japan. It was warmer as it actually rarely snowed here as I heard from the villagers around. After a mission, we decided to go to a distant region in Irelia that was most known for its delicious food restaurants, markets, and essentials.

Walking in, we got a table and walked past a group of other adventurers. I then hear my name. "Clover?" a voice asks.

I sigh then turn around, "Hello, Ms. Kazumi. It's good to see you again."

Yuki runs towards me and gives me a tight hug. "Clover! I miss you so much!"

"Hey, Clover! Where have you been?" Hunter walks up to me as Yuki lets go of me. "We were supposed to work as a team. We've been sacrificing ourselves fighting monsters levels higher than us and you've been banging other girls on the side!"

I chuckle, "Funny jokes Hunter." I flip my stats and everyone comes and looks. The time I checked I was level 41, now I'm level 78. My other attributes were over the top and my immunities were almost anything.

Axel scoffs, "show off."

"At least I didn't kick my own teammate off of a cliff," I say.

Yuki started tensing up and dashed at Axel, "Were you the one that kicked him off the cliff?"

Axel started stuttering. I sigh and get back to the other side of my table and start eating.

"Your friends are....interesting," Rii says.

"I don't wanna talk about it," I say, taking a spoonful of soup. We continued to eat, but my senses started to focus on the conversations my class was having.

"I still can't believe that's Clover," Axel says.

"He's changed a ton. I don't even recognize him half of the time. His tone has gotten so much...darker..." Kiko says.

Jack sighs, "How do you guys not see it? It's not like his facial features have changed and his attitude." He munches on a turkey leg. "He's still one of us, we have to accept, and trust me, the only person that would recognize him better than any one of us is Yuki."

Yuki's face was in the mood of discomfort, regret, greed, anger, and sorrow. I started to feel bad, then Hunter said, "Hey guys, forget him for now, we still got a mission to do. The village near the Gargolas area is about to be attacked by monsters. It's our enemy."

Is Gargolas part of the enemy territory? I started to wonder. The place seemed nice. I didn't notice anything wrong with Gargolas and why was it known as Irelia's enemy...

"Master?" I hear Umi say.

"What's up?" I ask.

"I'm noticing a deep mood within you, is everything alright?" she asks.

"After this, we're going back in action for a bit."

Rii groans, "We just got back from another raid. Plus there's no pay."

"So you just wanted to do adventure for the money?"

Rii chuckles, "Money is the only way to live in the world darling.~"

I sigh, "It's just this once, I'll just ask their advisor to give us some of the pay."

After seeing the group leave at the front door, I sighed and decided to catch up with them. "Hey guys," I say.
