Chapter 19: Clash of Demons

Two sides were laid on the wide field. One side was my party, and the other was Trarkoz, Demon of the Blood Moon. I started to think, Why and how did I get here? I just wanted to get out of this place... There was total silence between the two sides. Rii and Umi were already ready to cast spells while Kiara and Yuki had their weapons prepared.

I noticed the four looking at each other like they already have a plan. In a flash, a large gust of wind blew me away as the four were dead on Trarkoz. Sparks flew as they clashed and explosions thundered in the field. Kiara constantly clashed with the demon as sparks from her sword clashed with hers. Rii jumps in and uses magic to strengthen her attacks, but it feels too easy for Trarkoz. As the two back up, Yuki and Umi charged at her with much force it was able to at least knock her back a little, but a gust of blast thru the battlefield away.

"The hell was that?" I say, thrown to the ground.

"You girls pick up a good fight, now it's my turn to attack," Trarkoz says, making a sign on one hand and strengthening her grip on the sword on the other. A sign on her hand started showing as it glowed red and her eyes closed, then flashed open red.

It only happened in a flash as red lighting zips through the air into each one of the girls, then lands towards me. Our faces are centimeters close to each other, our eyes locked deep into each other. It's so close that I can see her past. Dark, prude, it felt similar to mine. She then smiles.

"I win," she says before booping my nose.

I looked behind her to see all of the girls knocked out.

"Don't worry, I didn't kill them. I think it'll be fun to have some rivals."

"I don't like where this is going."

Trarkoz chuckles, "You will eventually.~"

We then got the girls under trees to cool down and rest. Sitting down right after, I grabbed an onigiri from my pouch and started eating it.

"What is that?" Trarkoz asks sitting down next to me.

"It's an onigiri. It's made with rice, seaweed, and beef inside."

"That sounds really good! I want one!"

I shrugged and opened one for her, giving it to her. Taking a bite, her face gets lightened up.

"Mmmmmm! It's so good! I didn't know human food can be this good!"

"Be careful you don't want to eat a lot, you'll gain weight."

"Tch, as a demon we don't gain weight!"

"I doubt that."

We continued to eat and fill our stomachs. As I was about to take a sip of ale, an arrow zips through the container, gushing out all of the ale inside. I look to where the arrow was shot and see the Gargolous' Special Forces and my class right next to them. The one that shot it was Ms. Kazumi.

"You two demons! Whatever your mission in this world matters no longer! We are here to end you and avenge our friend that we loved and is now consumed in the darkness because of you!" Hunter says.

Like hell, you cared! I was pissed. I stood up and walked towards the group, knowing what was going to happen in this fight. I don't plan on killing them unless it's the last thing I have to do. I stood up and confronted the group. I could easily tell they were scared.

I was face to face with Hunter. "If you think you and your little band of heroes can defeat me, a demon lord, you are for certain a fool!"

"You're the fool here! I fought one of your demon lords!"

I snicker, "You couldn't even kill one!"

"Says who?"

"Says me."
