ROY

Fuck you.

I MURMURED under my head when my gaze turned down to Lance. Why is every time when I look at him my blood boils. Wala sa sariling napatingin ako sa orasan at napakunot ang noo. It's already eight am. I looked at the door while hoping someone would enter the room but it stayed steady.

Where the hell is she? It's been three days and I haven't even seen her. Even her shadow. Iniwan niya pa ako sa reporting. I shook my head and looked away. I need to see her for clarification, that's it.

”Good morning!”

I automatically turned my sight on the door hoping she's finally here but irritation and disappointment grew on me when I saw my cousin's annoying face while grinning. My sight stayed on her. She's friends with Kia and does she know where she is? And why is she gone for the whole damn three days?

Should I ask her? I put my palm on my face. Pasimple kong nilagay ang headset sa aking tenga nang bumaling siya sa akin. ”Absent pa rin?” I still hear them because the sound was staying off.

”Wow, hindi ka na talaga nag su-suot ng jacket, ah!” Biglang umupo si Hera sa aking mesa at sinampal ako ng mahina sa braso. Hindi ako sumagot. Hindi ko alam pero wala akong gana. ”Grabe talaga, mas lalo kang gumwapo, Roy." She then clapped her hand.

Nanatili siyang nandoon habang nagsasalita. I know she wants something kaya inunahan ko na ito. ”What is it? Just tell me already, Hera” Atomatiko siyang huminto at napakamot sa batok. ”Roy, kasi ano..” Tumikhim siya at umayos ng upo. ”Hindi ba mag pinsan tayo?” I raised a brow at her.

”Pautang.”

She then laid her two palms in front of me while begging for something. My forehead frowned. ”Sige na, wala akong pera tapos ayaw ko ding mangutang kina Jie at Xin, mga panget 'yon, eh.”

”Didn't your parents give you?” Umiling si Hera. ”Hindi, pinagalitan ako kagabi tapos 'di ba, wala si ate sa bahay… so, ayon.”

”Anong gagawin mo sa pera?”

”Ibibili,”

Tinulak ko siya kaya napaatras ito habang tumatayo. ”Wala akong pera.” Subalit nagpupumilit siya at bahagya pang pekeng umiyak. ”Sige na! Mag babayad ako promise, five hundred lang! Pangako, mamatay man si batman! Roy, sige na, woi!” Huminto ako at iritado siyang tinignan.

Mukha siyang natigilan dahil sa titig ko kaya bumuntong hininga na lang siya. ”Hindi, okay lang. Sino ba naman ako para pautangin mo, para naman tayong walang pinagsamahan kahit wala naman tagala, sige Roy, aalis na 'ko.” She tapped my shoulder and left.

But suddenly I got this kind of feeling while looking at my cousin's back that is emotionally walking towards her seat. I sigh and put my hands inside my pocket to take my wallet. ”Hera.” I said in a cold tone. ”Bakit” She slowly faced me. ”Anong ibibili mo sa pera na ipapautang ko?”

”Ibibili ko sana para kay Kianna”

Doon ako natigilan at agad inilabas ang pitaka. Napatikhim ako at inayos ang upo. ”Pero naintindihan ko naman na ayaw mong magpautang, e. Sige.” Akma akong magsasalita nang pumasok ang lecturer. I blinked twice while processing her last words. For Kianna, huh? I never heard her name for the past few days. My gaze turned down to Hera.
