Let's leave.

Hayat wiped her tears and slowly slid out of the bathroom.

Hayat's pov:

This suitcase would do, I will change into pajamas and wear a thick winter coat. 3 jeans 5 tops 2 shirts 2 skirts 1 winter coat a pair of shoes and 3 dresses socks and undergarments. Perfect, enough to last me 2 weeks minimum. I will deal with anything later. I quickly grabbed my documents, my school certificates and qualifications, a notebook, and few pens. My toiletries, and zipped up the suitcase. I grabbed a backpack that had few imp things like my passport driving license, mints and deodorant. I zipped the back, wore the winter coat and then the bag, kissed Asli and Ipek, and quickly grabbed Ipek's car keys. I also grabbed my wallet with ATM cards and slipped out of the house quietly. Thank God, Ipek and Asli drove in their car instead of taking a cab to come here.

The roads were empty at this point in time. I sat in the car, silently mumbling a prayer that the car starts without any noise. I checked the time, it was 7:30 pm flight leaves at 9:20 (delayed. the Original was leaving at 9:05 pm) So I have to be at the airport by 8:30 max or I won't catch my flight! I stepped on the gas pedal. Maintaining the speed at 90-100 Km/hr. I managed to cover 70kms in 42 mins. I parked the car and dashed to the ATM at the airport and emptied my bank account. The whole journey cost around 7.5K TRY high for the economy but I had no choice. A good stranger had let me use his tablet to book the flight and paid from his account. I handed him the amount in cash. Thanks to my saving I Still had 5K TRY in my hand. I dashed through security and check-in and boarded my flight. The whole journey was 1hr 40 mins as per the boarding pass. I had 1 hr 40 mins to think. Think about what am I supposed to do. Okay, let's write a letter to the people I left behind and my family, Ipek and Asli.

I took out a  paper and a pen.

Dear Asli and Ipek,

I am running away. Far from this place. Far from the people I once called my family. Ipek, I have taken your car with me, the keys are attached with this letter. Please find it in the parking lot near the Giresun airport. By the time you wake up, I will not be anywhere near you. This airport was my first leg of the journey. Do not try to find me. I left no traces behind. Why did I leave is a mystery that I have taken with me. I don't want to risk you to interrogation or emotional blackmail or compulsion that my so-called family is capable of.  I will always love you. And if our reunion is written in our fates, it will happen. Till then take care of yourselves lovelies.

Your loving Hayat.

The letter was smudged because of my tears but this is it. This is my life now. This is far better than the life I was being forced into. I quickly decided to pen another letter.

To Hashmet Uzun,

I am no longer your granddaughter. Today I leave behind you people along with the name you gave me. Do not try to find me as I no longer wish to keep any relation with you.

Hayat.

I encrypted my phone to make sure when I factory reset, the data will not be recovered. I made notes of few imp things in my phone and performed factory reset on it. I did not wish to be traced if in case Murat wishes to track me down. Why are you still thinking about him Hayat. His chapter is over. OVER. The landing announcement made me realise that I'm already in Istanbul. Although the flight departed 15mins late, it arrived on time. 10:45pm local time. I had layover of 3hrs 20 mins.  I quickly grabbed a box from courier agency dropped both the letters, sim card, my phone and Ipek's car keys. I sealed it and pasted the address. The courier would reach in 5 hours the customer service told me. The price for the shipping would be paid at the time of delivery. I am not wasting any of my money now.  And I turned around and bang. I bumped into something hard. Last I remember, there was no wall anywhere near. I look up to find myself into bumped into the same stranger who let me use his tab to book tickets back at the Giresun Airport.
