Murat POV:

I unpack all my luggage and decide to take a shower. I head over to Hayat's bathroom. I could see empty boxes and two thermometers on the sink. Gosh this girl. I threw the boxes in the dustbin. Only to realize that they weren't thermometers. They were pregnancy tests. I checked the boxes for the meaning and realized that both the tests were positive. Hayat was pregnant. Who else could the tests belong to? It was her house and her bathroom. "Accept it Murat, she moved on. Be happy for her" I kept chanting that over and over again. Skipped the shower and went back to my bed and fell asleep.

Hayat POV:

As soon as Asli dropped her bomb, we went quiet. What she just said made no sense. But Asli was Asli so I had pray that some decent man would walk in now. I guess God did grant my prayer as in walked none other than my Serkan. My Serkan. Oh La La. Things are going to get interesting now! Asli introduced herself, "Serkan, I am Asli. We met at Hayat's house on Friday remember?" "Yes, yes I do." he replied. How could he forget her? She is the girl that grounded him. Asli then dropped the bomb on Serkan, "Serkan, if you are single, will you marry me? Tomorrow at the court house?" "What? Are you serious?" he replied. I could tell he was shocked and happy. Probably wondering if this is my prank. "Yes. Yes I am. I will be a good wife. I will change myself into your liking. I am a nurse. I work at the city hospital. I can clean and cook and wash. I just can't drive. I promise you won't regret it. In fact we can even have a big wedding again, as per your liking, but please can we get married tomorrow?" she said desperately, trying to convince him. See Doruk. You are responsible for this state of hers. "Okay. Okay. Relax. We can." Serkan replied. The moment he uttered those words, Doruk came running onto him, grabbing him by his collars. And then at Asli. Dealing with him was a piece of cake for Serkan.

What in the world did I just witness? Asli is getting married tomorrow to Serkan?!? Honestly, she did deserve better. And Serkan was a gem! "Tuval, could you show us some dresses?" she asked confirming my and Tuval's doubts that Asli was indeed serious. Doruk stated and pleaded "I will not sell any of Sarte's wedding dresses to you Asli. Why are you doing this? Please don't do this Asli." "If I don't marry him, will you marry me tomorrow? No? Then keep your mouth shut." Asli retorted. She turned to Serkan and said, "Could we go shopping now? If you are free? I don't have any problem in getting married in this clothes as well. Did I disturb your schedule much?" She sure is nervous. But good thing Serkan is there for her. He calmed her down and off they went shopping for their wedding tomorrow. I shot a quick text to Serkan "Stay over at my place tonight." To which he replied "Yes, we need to talk."

Ipek came as soon as Asli left. She enquired about Serkan and Asli. She had spotted them leaving. Tuval and me filled in everything that unfolded before us. Ipek was shocked but happy for her. We walked to store room to get Ipek's dress. She had already finalized her dress. Well there was another shock waiting for us. The dress was damaged beyond repair. And on it was a sticky note, "That's what you get when your to-be husband decides to go against me and quits with Murat." Ipek started crying. I barely managed to get her out of the store room. Tuval went and checked Kerem's suit. Same condition. Ugh Derya. Why are you testing my patience?

I want to get drunk tonight. It is just 5pm on a Monday! The first day of the week! And since morning I have found out Asli is pregnant, Murat was homeless, Doruk is a cheater, Asli is marrying Serkan tomorrow, Ipek and Kerem's dresses are damaged beyond repair. Ugh! I quickly grab my phone and make a group "Adults Out of Order" and add Serkan, Asli, Ipek, Kerem, Tuval and Murat. I send a quick text. "Bring dinner. Anything. Kind of Potluck. 7 people. 6pm onwards. My place. Everyone is staying the night."

After ensuring Ipek is back to normal, I bid goodbye to Tuval and Ipek and left. I stopped by to buy few bottles of Çalkarası wine. Almost impatient I grab two glasses and a wine bottle and head over to find Murat as soon as I reach home. He was in his room. I knocked and he answered a sleepy come in. That voice. ughh. Am I falling for him all over again? He sat up while I poured myself a glass. I asked him and he said no but as soon as I was about to drink mine, he took it away. "Hey, that's mine!" I chided. "No you won't drink wine." He said. Irritated I asked, "and why is that mister?" "Hayat, I know. You can't drink wine now." he said placing the glass aside and taking my hands in his. "What are you trying to say?" I asked confused. "I know you are pregnant." He dropped the bomb. I couldn't decide if I should be laughing or shocked, "I am not" "You don't have to lie to me. I found the tests in your bathroom." he said.  "Now that you know, I have to tell you." I said  putting on my best acting face. For the dramatic effect I removed my hands from his and faced towards the window and continued, "Its complicated. I met him at a club. It was love at first sight. At least for me. We got a little tipsy and in the process forgot to use protection. You know the weird part? I didn't even know his name." I caressed my non existent baby bump and continued the drama, "I thought all I will have of him is this baby. But then few days after flying down here, I get assigned to design a wedding suit of the groom. I was told that he specifically requested for me. The client is the guy! He is getting married. Now I am not sure how to tell him." I added watery eyes for the dramatic effect. The shock on Murat's face was worth it. I drank the wine from the glass in one go and confessed, " Relax. That wasn't true. I had a hectic day today. Wanted to have a little fun!" "So you.. you are not ?" He asked "I am not. Those are not mine. I am not pregnant." He sighed in relief. "I can't tell you whose they are unless she tells you first. But trust me they are not mine. Now pour me another one and pour yourself one too!" I said and proceeded to tell him everything while we sipped our wine. It felt good. I felt happy. We somehow landed on the topic of our 'love-life' in the recent years. He told me about his pursuers and how he didn't even glance a look at them. It felt good to know that Murat didn't see anyone in these years. I do not know whether it was Murat's company or wine or both. But I was happy. And I was definitely falling in love with him. But before he could ask me about my 'love-life', the doorbell rang.
