Hayat had fled Istanbul when her grandfather, Hasmat dada decided to take her back to her village and marry her off. Murat, the love of her life did not want anything to do with her. Years pass, she is a self-made renowned designer. What happens whe...
Doruk was busy with some work, and so I picked up Asli's call. Little did I know, it would be the worst. Hayat had run away. I felt numb and helpless. I couldn't bear my weight anymore, and I collapsed. Luckily Doruk and Kerem were there. We decided to use our chopper to go to Giresun. After what felt like an eternity, we landed a little outside the village. Doruk had arranged a car for us, and we soon reached the house. You could see the wedding preparations were carried out in full swing as the front yard was decorated.
As soon as Kerem called Ipek, the girls came out running, followed by Hashmet Dada, Emine, and Faride aunty. And a guy who later identified himself as Hayat's brother Cemil.

The ladies were crying, but the men had a disappointed look in their eyes. They were more worried about the called-off wedding than Hayat. I was raging was an understatement. But, I decided to look for Hayat. She was important. Everything else could wait.

Asli said that Hayat had sent a letter. Ipek handed out. After reading it, I realized she left no clue where she would be going. Except she did. How subtle, Hayat. She had left Ipek's car at the airport. So we went to the airport. I used my contacts to check the CCTV footage. She sure did board some flight. She also had visited the atm. She had emptied her entire bank account was the best my contacts could get out of the bank. Apparently, their privacy policy had changed I kicked while cursing hard. Why was I feeling this was not a coincidence?
Ipek: She must be here in the country. Most flights from this airport at this time are domestic. Check the Thursday flight maps.
Doruk: So she must be Ankara, Izmir or Istanbul.
Kerem: By flight timings, she must be in Istanbul
Asli: Murat, use your contacts and tell the police to search everywhere in the city
Murat: No, first we have to scan the airport. She said this was the first leg of her journey. Ipek, Asli, does she have a passport?
Asli: Yes
Ipek: But she carried all her documents with her. She did not leave a single thing behind except for her phone.
Murat: 5 people + pilot can sit in the chopper. Will you guys accompany us to Istanbul now?
Girls: Yes
Murat: let's take your car to go back home. Let me have a look at her room. And then we'll leave. I'll send a man. He'll carry all of your luggage back to Istanbul by car. Carry only the essentials now.
Emine aunty had already prepared packed lunches for us to carry. That was thoughtful of her, but right now, I was not hungry. Where are you, Hayat! Where have you gone! I scanned her entire room. She sure did take all the important things. And most of the things left behind were clothes shoes and accessories.
We reached Istanbul soon. I had already called up the police commissioner, but apparently, they could not trace her out. Few of the airline systems had glitched and had lost data of departed flights in few hours. We both knew it wasn't a coincidence. The railway station, the bus, and the waterways were being scanned, and there was no sign of her. I had given her phone to recover the data, but it was impossible. She had encrypted her cellphone. That means she was smart and had been planning this for a long time, or someone was helping her.
Me, Tuval, Asli, Doruk, and Ipek, and Kerem split up in pairs and started scanning the hotels and small places where she could stay for a few days and then escape when things calmed down. Or she was waiting for her visa.

It was midnight. And still no sign of her. I had broken down. Everyone was trying to calm me down, assuring me, but the heart wanted what it wanted. I wanted Hayat. I couldn't bear to stay away from her, and now she had run away. All because of my stupid ego. If only I had listened to her. If only I had stopped her. But all was over. The emotions got the best of me. Everything started appearing blurry. My surrounding had started rotating around me. And then I, I blacked out..........
