Cassiopeia was so excited for her first year at Hogwarts, last year her brother Sirius went and she missed him dearly, he was one of her best friends. When Sirius was sorted he got into Gryffindor, that summer he also moved out to live with James Potter. She missed him. Her and her twin Regulus got on the train and tried to seek him out. The three heirs of Black where all very close. When they reunited it felt like the Earth was back in alignment with the moon.
Regulus was sorted into Slytherin. They all knew this would happen, but they made a pact that no matter what house they were in nothing would change. Cassiopeia didn't want to be sorted into Slytherin, she hates being around blood supremacists, she hates anything to do with them. That's also why she hates her name, Cassiopeia, it sounds so pure-bloody, it's of course something to do with the stars and it sounds so prissy. That's why she preferred being called Cass. that's also why she cringed when Professor Minerva Mcgonagall called her full name up to be sorted. Cass was very thankful when the hat shouted Hufflepuff. Cass knew this wouldn't go over too well in her family, but she put on a strong face.
During the summer of '75 before going into the twins fourth year they ran away and moved in with their cousin Andromeda. This was a life saving decision.
