"Do you get deja vu? Oh"
•••
Cassiopeia woke up in her dorm on December twenty first. It was all one big nightmare. She didn't have to become a Death Eater. She never had to leave James and her brothers. She can finally tell James she loves him.
Cassiopeia practically skipped down to the great hall for lunch after her nap. And felt relief when she saw them. All nine of them. It was as if nothing had happened. Nothing did happen that was just a nightmare.
Cass walked to the table in mid conversation, and got a sense of deja vu.
"... then I told flitwick that Sirius and James were going to Mcgonagalls office. Then that's when they put the dungbombs in Dumbledores office!" Peter exclaimed to the group.
"I still can't believe you guys did that. You'll be expelled before you graduate." Lily told the four boys.
"Then we will go out in style!" Sirius said as if he was a king.
"I hope you get expelled, that would be fun to see. You would not go with grace." Regulus said laughing at the image of his brother getting expelled.
"I hope no one gets expelled," Cass started, jumping in into the conversation that she felt like she already lived through, "How will Remus help me with Care of Magical Creatures if the four of you are expelled?"
"Wow, your own brother got expelled and you only care about Remus? I am hurt Assiopea." Sirius said dramatically. Cass somehow appreciated this nickname now
"Love- we aren't actually expelled." Remus reminded Sirius.
"Idiot." James said, smaking him on the back of the head. Cass loved him so much. She couldn't contain herself she needs to tell him but she'll have to wait for later tonight.
"You all are idiots." Mary said.
"I one thousand percent agree." Marlene added.
Cass and Lily both shook their heads in agreement
"Whoa I don't like this." Peter said, "Prongs, their ganging up on us."
"It's not like they hate all men though Wormy. We should be fine."
"Your right." Lily said, " We don't have all men. We still love Regulus and Remus."
"Oi! I never said I liked regulus." Cass jokingly protested.
"Yes, Cass hates all of us because she is secretly a death eater." Sirius said solemnly.
They all laughed. Cass could never be a Death Eater. Only in her nightmares she is.
In class after lunch Cass decided to write James a not because she was so exited for tonight.
"Dear James,
I can't wait for tonight. I'll see you there <3
forever yours,
Cassiopeia Luna Black"
Cass normally saw the Marauders during passing period between charms and divination. She stopped and talk to them and as she walked away she put her note in James book bag and pulled in the bag a little so he would notice it. Just like it happens in her nightmare before all hell broke loose.
Cass could barely focus in class. She could wait to hear what James thought about the note later tonight. And before she knew it class was dismissed.
