"If I showed up at your party
Would you have me? Would you want me?
Would you tell me to fuck myself
Or lead me to the garden?
In the garden, would you trust me
If I told you it was just a summer thing?
I'm only seventeen, I don't know anything
But I know I miss you"

Cassiopeia

Cass went straight to the Great Hall when she got off the horseless carriages. She went to the Hufflepuff table and sat down; she was one of the first people there. She could tell by the looks people were giving her that they knew something happened over break. Maybe it was the fact her hair was now in tight coils compared to her usual pin straight hair. Or the bags underneath her eyes. Or quite possibly it was the look of unhappiness on her face that people weren't used too.

By the time everyone entered the Great Hall it was buzzing with conversation. Cass's four most favorite people even came and sat with her trying to understand what happened over break.

"What was he like?" Hephaestus Mulciber kept asking her.

"Did you get to talk to him?" Theodore Nott asked.

"Mother says you have a dark mark. Is that true?" Severus Snape asked.

"Rumor has it he is giving her missions." Caspar Avery told the other Slytherins.

Cass just ignored them. She was to busy to answer anyways. She was staring at the Gryffindor table wishing she could be there. Cass will never forget the looks on all their faces when they saw her. At first it was relief, then when they say her with tue Slytherins, it wasn't quite disappointment.  But that could be the closest word to describe the look on her former friends faces. On her brothers face.

Finally she was pulled back into reality when she heard Nott say, "Maybe your mom was wrong Snape, she's probably going crazy. Look Cassiopeia is just sitting there not saying a word. I bet she just got in a fight with her brothers and wants to give them a good scare."

"Don't call me Cassiopeia." she finally replied, "And here and now isn't a good place to talk about the Dark Lord people can over hear. But Sniv- Snape's mother is right. And, Nott, if you really think that you can get up and leave." Cass snapped, she hated their presence so she gave them a chance to leave her alone. But Nott didn't move a muscle, all their faces were in shock, "That's what I thought."

After the feast Cass was making her way to her dorm when a phoenix swooped passed her. There was a not attached to its leg. Thankfully Cass was in an empty corridor so she untied the note from its leg.

'Cassiopeia please make your way to my office now.
Dumbledore'

After Cass finished reading the letter it burnt in her hand.  She made her way to Dumbledore's office. Right when she was about to knock on the door to his office the door opens itself.

"Please come in Cassiopeia." Dumbledore told her.

"Please don't call me Cassiopeia." Cass said walking into the office she will be getting very familiar with.

"So Cass, based on your appearance I can assume you have started to succeed in your mission."

"Yes. I have gotten farther then we thought I would." Cass started then told him everything.

"Very good. Very good. I will send you back to your dorm now Cass, it's about curfew. Please send me an owl next time you hear from Voldemort."

"Yes professor." Cass said getting up to leave. And this time Dumbledore didn't stop her as she was about to leave.

Cass was walking down the halls almost to the common room  lost in her own thought when she was stopped
by none other than Remus Lupin.

"Remus. " Cass said trying her best not to be polite. She had to put on a believable show if she wanted to keep him and her brothers safe.

"Cass. It's past curfew. What are you doing out this late."

"None or your business, Lupin. Now please get out of my way so I can get to my common room."

Right as she was about to go past him Lily came up to them.

"Remus who are you talking to? Oh Cass, hello. "

"I was just leaving." Cass hated being this rude. Especially to her friends.

"We we're all worried about you." Lily said to her as she was a few feet ahead of them.

"Well I didn't ask you to worry. I was fine." Cass said feeling the pain in her chest and her voice. Then she walked away.

When she got to her dorm all Cass could do was cry. She didn't have her brothers. Her friends. Or James.  She only has herself. She didn't have anyone to tell. She could tell Regulus but she couldn't be caught dead with him. So she was alone. She was alone and hoping that one day they will forgive her.  That they will want her back and love just as they had before.  All Cass could do was think about the good times and what she was protecting to keep her going. So instinctively her mind went back to the Room of Requirement when she was with James and they were planning their halloween costumes.
