I guess I should go back to how this whole thing started and like most of my stories, it started with Seven... we had been arguing about Ala'Ven; Ala'Ven wanted to go to this space camp and Seven thought it would be a good idea, I felt like Ala'Ven was spreading himself too thin with all his various activities; school, football, debate team, boxing, and his newest passion modeling.... adding space camp to that would be a lot for anyone to handle especially a teen but Seven once again overruled me. I was irritated and just needed some space but of course, Seven wanted to 'talk about'..... thankfully Ala'Ven had gone off to school and Seven was following me around the house doing his usual 'please talk to me' but I was over it, Seven's mind was made up and I didn't see a point in continuing this dead conversation. I could tell he was getting irritated by me ignoring him and in typical Seven fashion his temper was starting to get the best of him and I was determined to leave before this turned into another 'Bad Guy Tyson' argument and I didn't need that type of energy to start off my day......

"Ty, can we please talk about this? Why are you so against our son expanding his education... he's a smart kid and I'm sure if he felt like things were too much he'd cut something but I have faith he can handle it." Seven said quietly.

"He's a child Seven... he shouldn't have to be handling anything." I said without looking at him. "But I'm sure my opinion doesn't matter so just go on ahead and sign him up for that stupid ass camp and let's move on." I said looking at Seven who was biting down on his tongue.

"It's not stupid to Ala'Ven.... I swear you don't give that kid enough credit, he's the one who makes the schedule for the whole house.... he's extremely responsible, way more responsible than I was at his age." Seven said smiling with pride. "And of course your opinion matters, it's just lately you've been.... I don't know distant." Seven said.

"I haven't been distant, I've been going along with everything you wanted... whenever you decide something I'm right there supporting you and Ala'Ven." I said wanting to say more but it was pointless. "Look I'm running late... I'll see you when I get off." I said gathering my wallet and keys.

"I love you...." Seven said trying to kiss me but I skillfully moved so he got the corner of my mouth, if he noticed he didn't say anything but I didn't stay long enough to see his reaction. So because of that unnecessary argument, I was running late, which meant I couldn't stop to get my usual breakfast, and that led to what happened at lunch.....

"My husband has been begging me to get him tickets to the Cowboys game... we've been living here for three years and he has yet to go to a game." My friend Chloe said dropping another hint that she wanted me to use my connections to get her some more tickets.

"Wait, I'm confused.... I thought you went to a game?" I asked looking at her.

"Oh I have... with my side piece but I've never been with my husband and I'm feeling a little bad...." Chloe said laughing and I gave her a little smile but the last thing I wanted to do is get caught up in her love triangle.

"I'll talk to Seven and see if he can get some.... I don't think it will be an issue though. Let me run into this store and grab the stuff Ala'Ven needs for his extra credit project.... not that he needs it." I said shaking my head, wondering why he always chose to go above and beyond what most kids did. I was in the store maybe five or ten minutes... I got everything Ala'Ven needed and paid for my stuff at the self-checkout, getting some cash back for lunch and quickly walked out.....

"AYO!!!!" Someone called but I kept walking because I wasn't sure if they were talking to me. I got to the car and got in the driver's seat and started to back out, only for someone to block my car, then they walked over to the window and knocked. "Ayy you forgot your money...." He said once I rolled the window down, I took the money without looking at him, mumbled a quick thanks, and continued backing out.
