I sat there for the entire session waiting for the door to open, maybe I was stupid for holding out hope but with each passing second I inched closer to the realization that Tyson simply didn't give a fuck. It's not like he didn't know, we spoke on the phone last night and he told me he'd be here but for him to stand me up... in my eyes we were officially done. Once the session was over, I debated whether or not I should call my lawyer and have him draw up the divorce papers but something told me to wait. I drove to Tyson's job hoping to catch him here to get an explanation (and possibly catch Errol), when I walked into the building I was greeted by a few of his coworkers (one who openly flirted with me) but I ignored his advances and went up to Tyson's floor. The office seemed... empty, the lights were off, it had that feeling that no one had been here, and it just seemed... cold. Maybe they were working somewhere else today and as I was turning to head back to the elevator I heard sniffling. I probably should've just minded my business but I followed the sound and until I found Chloe sitting in a dark room, crying her eyes out.

"Oh hey Seven... if you're looking for Tyson he didn't show up for work today and he's not answering any of my calls." Chloe said sniffing loudly. "Errol went over there last night, so I wouldn't be surprised if they were.... y'know." Chloe said and I wish ten thousand days of misery on this bitch because I knew she only said that to get under my skin.

"Wassup Dalisa?" I said getting in my car, my older sister had been calling me for the past few days and I had been avoiding her calls mainly out of fear she was going to try to rope me into one of her schemes.

"Seven, you know you're my favorite sibling and I was just calling to check on you and see how you're doing." Dalisa said, yeah she definitely wanted something because from the ages of six to eighteen whenever she wanted something she'd refer to me as her 'favorite' before asking me to do something for her.

"Annoyed, Tyson didn't show up for our marriage counseling session which I'm taking to mean he doesn't give a fuck about me or this marriage but what do you want because I know it's probably some fuck shyt." I said and it came out a little harsher than I intended. "My bad... wassup?" I asked trying to ease some of the sting.

"Maybe I should call you back...." Dalisa said, guilt; another one of her tactics.

"Nah it's coo.... wassup, I need something to keep me distracted." I said quietly, Dalisa was so much like my mom it was scary and she had this way about her that usually made me cave.

"Okay, so I was thinking next summer we should throw a family reunion.... get the whole family, not just dad and Uncle Alstair's family but the entire family... when was the last time we were all together?" Dalisa asked rhetorically. "It's been a while, not since Granddad died when we were little, hell I don't even think you were born yet.... so what do you think?" Dalisa asked.

"I think.... this is a job for Zaire, he's much more organized than I am, if you want help paying for it you know I'm willing but organizing and planning..... that's not my style. You might wanna call Dallas to help to, just in case some of our more stubborn family members try to get out of it... meaning Zach and Zyn." I said knowing that getting those two together would be a little challenging.

"I'll call you later tonight and give you a rundown of my entire plan....." Dalisa said hanging up and I just shook my head, while this may seem like a good idea to her, I just knew there would be drama and I wanted to prepare myself... I got an entire year to get ready just in case someone tried to come at me sideways (which I knew at least one of them would try).

I went home and changed before heading back out, I pulled up to Tyson's apartment and shook my head, the fact that he kept this place secret... maybe he was preparing for his escape.... well, since he wanted to be free I was about to set him free, to release him from the shackles of this marriage. I had already set up plans with Camilo for tonight, Ala'Ven was staying with friends because he "needed a break from his crazy parents", and Izayah was taking Jackson out on the Galveston Bay for a romantic evening. I got up to Tyson's floor and anger surged through my body, Errol was standing there, knocking quietly and my every instinct was telling me to beat his ass.
