"I. don't. Want. to. Go!" Emily shouted, clearly exhausted by our little family vacation. We had pulled up to the Champlain Mall in Dieppe to pick up a few things I had forgotten at home before we made it to the cottage we had rented by the ocean another 45 minutes away.

"I can stay with her while you get what you need, baby," Gabriel offered, the most patient out of the two of us. With a lump in my throat and trying to keep the tears at bay I nodded. "You can leave Felix in the truck too if you want" he offered looking over to our 4 year old with a grin. Felix looked so much like Hendrix it was freaky and the two, despite the age difference, were thick as thieves.

"Do you want to stay with daddy or come with mommy, Fee?" I asked.

"Daddy!" he exclaimed.

"Okay I will be back as soon as possible" I said, unbuckling my seat belt. Gabriel was at my door in a second helping me slide out as smoothly as possible. He pulled me into him, putting his hands on either side of my swollen belly.

"You can stay in the truck if you want, I can get everything"

"I'm okay Gabe, it will be faster if I just go in."

"We could just go back home too if you want, you look exhausted" he said as he placed a kiss on my forehead.

"I'm okay, and besides the kids are looking forward to the beach" I protested.

"I'm sure they'd be just as happy with the lake if we tell them the beach is closed" he said with a teasing grin.

"I'll just go get what we need and I'll be right back" I said kissing him.

"Eww mommy" Emily cried out from her seat. Gabriel chuckled and deepened our kiss, slapping my ass as I walked away. I yelped in surprise and gave him an exasperated look.

"I think you need to be pregnant forever" he said in a seductive voice, "you're fucking gorgeous" he continued, lustful desire written all over his face. I felt a blush creep up my face as I walked away. After six years of blissful marriage and babies, Gabriel and I were still very much into each other. As promised, Gabriel was by my side every single day being the best husband and father I could ever ask for.

I had remained in remission, never needing radiation or further treatment for my thyroid cancer and I was proud to finally be stable on my hormone medication. My current pregnancy had been the hardest of the three as I showed a lot sooner and managing two kids under 6 was a challenge all on its own. Emily was as sharp and scowly as her father, whereas Felix was pure sunshine and happiness. Both had inherited their father's black hair and brown eyes, there was no doubt who their daddy was! I hoped this third child would inherit something from me.

"'Scusez- moi, madame!" a manly voice said as I backed away from the swinging door, nearly crashing into my belly. I looked up to the giant of a man with an expression of surprise, having caught me off guard from my daydream. "Harper?" the man squeaked. Upon further inspection the man became much more familiar.

"REMI!" I said in disbelief. The giant man was even more of a giant and I couldn't help but gape as I slowly examined him from head to toe. Muscular and larger than life, Remi still had long blond hair and a blinding grin. He was no longer a young adult but a fully grown man and my goodness did he look good. Remi checked me out too, a small frown on his face as he took in my belly.

"You're pregnant?" he asked, though it sounded more like a statement.

"Yeah, and you have a kid?" I asked crouching down in front of the little blond kid hiding behind his leg.
