I hand Poe the glass of water and sit with him at the kitchen table. "And what do you have to say?" I ask, crossing my arms and pointing to the letter on the table. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you, we're best friends after all," he apologizes and looks at the floor, embarrassed, while his voice is getting lower and lower. Only the ticking of the clock fills this space.

"It's okay, I still love you. Does anyone else knows ?" I ask and he shakes his head. "No, not that I know of. Only Finn knew," he explains quietly. "Who is Finn?" I ask, confused. "My very best friend. We have known each other since we were young. You knew for sure that I had to flee from my village that was being destroyed. Before that I lived with him. Our whole village was made up of Jews and we lived really peacefully until then... ", he says, but then breaks off. He doesn't dare to say the rest of it, but I understand him that way and sigh.

"And does he have something to do with it?" I ask carefully and mean Ben, who is probably sitting in the garden right now. "Yeah, he was there," mumbles Poe and drinks from his glass of water. "But then I knew him by the name Kylo Ren," he adds quickly. "And why Kylo Ren?" I ask, but he just shrugs. "Rey, I don't know. You're really asking the wrong person, was that all of the questions?" He avoids my gaze and it almost looked like he was looking for an escape route.

"You still haven't answered my question about who Kylo Ren is," I reply, leaning sullenly in the chair. "He, he's Kylo Ren. But he was terrible, had no mercy. He was a captain as far as I know and was tasked with wiping out a Jewish village. That's all. He killed everyone except me and one other family. We  were able to escape and, with luck, incapacitate a few of his men", he says, but in such a way that I could tell how uncomfortable it was for him.  "I'm so sorry about that," I say and hold my hands over my mouth in horror. I didn't know what else to say.

"I'm sorry for you to live with someone like that," he says, getting up to leave. "Yes, I'll bring you," I get up too, but he just shakes his head. "No, it's okay," he says and just leaves without looking back. I guess I was too pushy this time. I understood how much this was bothering him, but more questions piled up on it.

I watched him quietly as he left the room before I stormed into the garden angrily. I open the garden door loudly and move quickly towards Ben.

He just sat quietly on a bench and didn't seem to notice me at all, and even if his uniform was supposed to look more threatening to me, I didn't seem a bit afraid of him. Too much anger built up in me at this man for me to be afraid of him.

He had still closed his eyes when I stood in front of him and my shadow fell exactly on his face. Immediately he opened his eyes.

"Rey, is it-" he starts, but I cut him off.  "It's called Reyanna you moron", I correct him and he just nods in agreement. "Yes, Reyanna. Is it still because of that stupid piece of paper? I burned them all," he justifies himself and I cross my arms. "No. Do you want to continue guessing or should I get straight to the point?" I ask him, but he just sighs instead of saying anything.

"It's about Poe," I say and toss the letter at him too, but he's too clumsy to catch it.  He slowly picks it up from the floor and opens it. It seemed like he didn't even have to read the first line to know what was written there. He only curses softly.

"Yes, of course. He was here, what do you think? Is it still about that stupid letter?" I get louder and he shakes his head. "No, it's not about the letter. I can imagine you're angry now," he says, standing up slowly and looking down at me pityingly. "Really? How strange that it then seems to me that you have no remorse for your actions," I admit and he gently puts his hand on my shoulder, which I knock away again immediately. "Don't touch me. If you think you know what I believe, then you surely know how deeply disgusting I find you. Your dirty fingers, on which the blood of families is still stuck, and your absolutely cruel face with that you probably smiled too when you killed them. Don't touch me!" I yelled, turning around quickly and walking back towards the house.

"No, wait a minute," calls out Ben, catches up with me with a few steps and walks next to me, even though I don't want to. "Just don't say that you've changed, I've heard that too often," I say, roll my eyes and close the garden door behind us. "Oh no, that wasn't. But it was an order, I wasn't allowed to oppose it," he explains quickly, hoping that I wouldn't be too mad at him then. "Yes, you should," I reply, stop and turn to face him. "Well, okay, maybe I had fun with it, but if I had resisted, I might have been killed by the hand of my own people. I had mercy on people, really!" He said, not knowing which move from would be appropriate to him now, so he just stood still. "Didn't sound like mercy, though."
