I woke up to the snoring of the sleeping man next to me. His arm was around me and his forehead pressed against my back. I straightened up and went to the closet to finally put some clothes on again. I frantically pulled my dress on and turned around again, but Ben was still asleep. The blanket covered half of his torso, but right now I just couldn't think of his good looks, instead my gaze slides to the floor, where all our things were spread out. I just sigh in annoyance before I decide to save it all.

I carry all our clothes into the bathroom and throw them in the laundry basket. I go quietly into Claude's bedroom and look for some kind of Ben's suitcase, but it's just one of his uniforms folded on a chest of drawers, as he always does. I pick up the things and quietly go back.

I slowly close the door behind me and turn to sleeping Ben to throw the things at him. Startled, he stands up as if he was expecting someone else and looks around. "Rey," he says, swallows hard and takes a deep breath. "For you, Reyanna," I say, crossing my arms. He just nods. "You can't wake me like that, I thought I was going to die. Do you actually know what I had to go through?" He asks seriously and pulls his shirt on. "No, I don't care either. Yesterday it didn't seem to have bothered you that much. You fucked your heart out," I reproach him while he continues to dress. "That was something unique, like you said it was," he added and stood up. "Yes, I know. Let's see how long you can hold out," I smile sarcastically, but instead of him leaving the room as he intended, he turned back to me. "And what are you telling me? That I can't live without you or what? So the way I heard it, it always worked out pretty well." He draws his eyebrows together. "Well, at least you haven't murdered a family in my presence," I admit provocatively. "Well, then look forward to the execution of a few criminals. I have the chance to upgrade myself there, maybe Poe will come to visit us too?", He smiles now too. "You don't dare to do that!" I say quietly, not knowing whether I should feel anger or even sadness now.

"Try to stop me." he says and quickly leaves the room.

I look carefully out the door, but nobody is up here. Just Ben, who is probably looking for a perfect hiding place for his letter in his room. I step slowly into the hallway and look around again in panic. I move quickly to the stairs and run down them.

"Reyanna, what's going on?" My mother-in-law asks quickly before I can leave the house. "I, uh ... you, he. He wants to have Poe killed," I let out a frantic breath, but she suddenly starts laughing. "What kind of fantasies are you putting in your head again? What reason would there be for doing this?", She asks, still smiling, but of course I couldn't reveal the reason to her that easily. Even if she liked Poe, she would keep telling it. She loves to mock people so incredibly like it's some kind of hobby.

She now draws her eyebrows questioningly and I look at the floor. "I'm sorry, it was just a stupid daydream," I apologize and she nods. "What about you, you're acting like a madman," she says, turning around and walking towards the garden.

"And, oh yes, Reyanna, could you collect the rent for me from the Tiko family today?" She calls out and I roll my eyes. "Yeah, sure," I call back and quickly put my shoes on. I also pull the bag hanging on the hook and open the door. But before I can go through the door, Ben walks past me and stops in front of the front yard to give me a cheeky smile. I close the door behind me and see him waving the note in front of me as if asking me to catch it. Like a dog, what does he think of what I am, please?

"Where are you going?" He asked and ran next to me. "Hopefully where you don't have to go. I can't take your ugly face a minute longer. Besides, your talk gets on my nerves so much that I'm even ready to shoot you," I mumble angrily and don't watch him up.

"Sounds like you're in love, but you want it to look like you really dislike me," he states and I stop, but instead of saying something, I just look up briefly, but then go on. "You're crazy," I add and he laughs. "Come on, then shoot me in the leg. I say it was a crazy farmer who is now in the grave. You will not be to blame." He holds out his gun to me and we stop again. He pushes it towards me again and I take it and aim at his leg. He crosses both hands behind his back and he would actually take the pain that way.

"I thought you didn't dare," he says after a while, but I shoot at the sidewalk next to us and he winces. I throw the gun at his feet and turn around to finally continue on my way in peace.
