(A/N: for those that haven't watched the movie, the ^ song plays at a particular scene :P)

The first sign that something strange was afoot happened when Chaeyoung had been sitting in her room, listening to the radio (because she was denied any other gadget to entertain herself) and sketching.

It was a late hour, but the radio deejay was taking song requests from callers who phoned in and Chaeyoung found herself enjoying the eclectic array of tunes.

"Next up! Who's on the line?" said the deejay cheerfully.

"Lily."

"Glad to have you with us, Lily! What's the song request you got for us?"

"Would it trouble you to put on A Little Respect by Erasure?" said the caller politely. The song title sounded distinctly familiar to Chaeyoung for some reason.

"No problem at all, one of my old favourites actually! Any dedication in particular?"

"Oh yes. I wanna dedicate this song to my favourite D.E.B girl out there. Hope she's having a good night," said Lisa Diamond, but only Chaeyoung recognised her.

She switched off the radio before the song could play, heart squeezing as she remembered how they sang and goofed around to the same song while playing karaoke.

"What are you doing?" Kook said, shouting to be heard above the blast of music. "You're gonna have the cops roll up to our door!"

"Having one last private concert," Lisa replied blithely as she pranced around the room and used a cue stick as a microphone, electric guitar and dance partner.

"In the middle of moving out?" Kook sighed. "The guys are all busy transporting the stuff out and you're here."

But Lisa ignored him and pulled his hands. "Sing with me!"

He groaned. "Not this crap—"

"Shut up, you love it!" Lisa laughed, "back me up now! I promise, we'll play something rock next!"

It was remarkable how quickly Kook soon got over his reluctance and with some of the less surly henchmen joining in too, the scene soon resembled a song number in a musical.

"Do you think Rosie heard it?" Kook asked once all the fun and games ended and it was back to business.

"Not sure," Lisa shrugged, "never hurts to try again either, but that's for later."

She turned to address her mercenaries that Kook had gathered. "Well, I'm not one for speeches so to cut a long story short, Kook and I are retiring from the business."

She held up a hand. "We gathered you all here today to let you know this, and to ask you to lend us a hand pulling off our final job: returning the assets that we 'borrowed'," she added with a smirk, her eyes twinkling as many of her audience snickered.

"Now rest assured that though you will no longer respond to me, Kook has already arranged to transfer a full year's worth of earnings in advance to your accounts, as well as a retirement package for those that wish to try their hand out at something else. This will happen once the job is done and everything is cleared out."

She smiled as excited whispers broke out. "Been a real pleasure working with you boys, and I wish you all the best going forward but unfortunately, I ask that you do not contact me or Kook again after we all go our separate ways. I hope you understand this decision of ours to distance ourselves from my father's legacy."
