Yeri and Jisoo were still on the dance floor with other non-plussed people, uncertain how things were going to proceed with such a huge twist of events.
Already people were questioning and whispering about what Chaeyoung meant, if it truly had been a case of kidnapping.
"Oh my god, she really did that," Yeri said breathlessly, "she really stood there and basically confessed her love and came out, all in one fell swoop."
"Definitely more interesting than I thought," Jisoo mused.
Suddenly someone ran into the hall, screaming at the top of his lungs.
"IT'S LISA DIAMOND! SHE'S HERE! EVERYBODY RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!"
Panic gripped the entire student population, supposedly seasoned veterans of combat and fighting, but none of them had been prepared to actually face the legendary villain.
As everyone shouted and tussled and jostled and scrambled in a frenzied stampede to run for the exits, Yeri and Jisoo fought against the flow that threatened to drag them along.
"Jisoo, we gotta find—"
"What's the plan, Jen?" Jisoo said, making Yeri whirl around amidst the chaos, her eyes landing on Jennie as the brunette in question arrived next to them.
Jennie cocked her gun, her face grim. "Let's do this."
Jisoo and Yeri also held up their guns and together, they ran for the exits.

Lisa didn't know how the chaos erupted.
On the one hand it provided good cover—nobody gave her a second glance, they were too busy fleeing and screaming.
The human mind ignores important details when it is in flight mode, because the brain zeroes in on one single goal: survival, by running as far away from the perceived danger as possible.
But on the other hand, she couldn't find Chaeyoung anywhere. She had no idea where the blonde could have run after she left the stage. She had no idea where to start looking, but she sure as hell wasn't going to stop people and ask.
It was impossible to do that either way, like stopping a stampeding wildebeest on the rampage.
"There!" someone shouted, a familiar male voice.
Instinctively, Lisa knew it was meant for her. She saw Chanyeol in his white tuxedo and waving a gun in his hand, flanked by a couple of his buddies and the principal herself.
"Oh shit," Lisa muttered and took off running for her life, zig-zagging around people, dark hair streaming behind her.
She was certain Chanyeol wouldn't shoot her whilst there were other people running around, out of fear of hurting them, but if she was cornered alone...
Lisa bent her head and pressed on, scouring her surroundings. A wooden door labelled Storage—Staff Only caught her attention and she dived for it, slamming it shut and locking it.
She heard them jiggling the doorknob but the lock held and Lisa took off running again.

Chaeyoung didn't know how the chaos erupted.
One moment she was desperately running trying to figure out how to get to the balcony Lisa had been standing in, the next, she was running amongst a sea of panicked people, screaming and shouting and yelling incoherently.
From what she understood, someone had spotted Lisa too and everyone panicked.
Because after all, to them, Lisa was a psychotic, merciless and bloodthirsty killer even if she had just told them otherwise, even if Lisa had reformed and turned over a new leaf.
