I was finally allowed to go to work after two doctor visits and three fights with Kameron. Ever since he found out I was pregnant he has been down my throat nonstop. I mean I know he means well and all but damn I need to fucking breathe. It’s hard enough being five months pregnant which means I don’t need to deal with his bitching as well.

Soon as I enter the building I see Kacey sitting down waiting on me. Soon as he saw me he stood up and walked up to me.  “Nice to see you again Ms. Jackson,” he said putting his hands in his pockets of his suits. He looked good too like he knew he owned the world. “Well, you know some of us have to actually work for a living,” I said walking to my office. “I understand since yo dude been out of work,” he said causing me to turn around. “How do you know that, matter of fact how do you even know I have a dude,” I said very curious “Well, I was talking with the lady in charge, Karen, and she was telling me how you must feel being this pregnant with no man’s support.” I looked at him as if he was crazy; I couldn’t believe he was standing here talking to me about my personal life.

“First of all, don’t you ever talk to me about my personal life and second of all I do have my man’s support. You don’t need to be worrying about what my man is doing, you need to be worrying about your damn self” I said storming out of the room to find Karen. “You’ve been talking about me,” I asked walking up to her. “What are you talking about Ariel?”

“I’m talking about my boss talking to my client about me and my man. Why the hell would you do that?”

“Okay I know I was wrong but I was just trying to stir up conversation, but he only seemed to be interested in you. He kept asking about where you were and if you were single and then when he found out you weren’t single he got curious about Kameron.” Now I was officially curious as to why he would want to know so much about me. I barely even know the damn dude and he was all up in my business. I made a mental note to tell Kameron so he could check ole dude out. I walked back into my office to see him sitting down in one of my chairs. “Look I didn’t mean to offend you or anything, I just making conversation.”

“Usually when one starts a conversation they don’t mention their love life and they don’t pretend to know the other’s person life,” I snapped. “I said I was sorry,” he said standing up with an attitude. He was standing as if he was supposed to be scaring me or some shit. I turned around and put my hand on my hip, “You can say sorry a million times, it won’t mean shit to me. You crossed the damn line when you decided to go around asking about my damn personal life. I don’t appreciate that I think we need to hurry up and get your order compete and after this you will have to find a new personal designer.” He didn’t say anything but I could tell he had something to say but I really didn’t give a damn. The rest of the day I felt uncomfortable around him because I would catch him staring at me intensely. When he finally left I was beyond excited. I looked at the clock and saw it was seven at night which meant it was time for me to go.

When I got home Kameron had left a note saying he was out looking for a job. I was glad he was sticking to actually going straight and not going back to the game. I honestly didn’t think he would last long but he actually surprised me. I changed into some of Kameron’s clothes since none of mine seemed to fit anymore. Soon I heard someone knock on the door and it was Kelsey. “What you doing here,” I asked letting her in. “I came to see how you were doing.”

“Well, I’m five months pregnant and I feel like I am about to pop. Other than that I feel great,” I said being sarcastic. “Yea but the joy is when you actually get to see your child for the first time. It’s like you instantly have a bond between you and the baby.” I knew she was talking about her own lost child and I felt sorry for her. When we finally buried the little boy she almost freaked out as they put him in the ground. “I know it is hard watching me have this child, you know I didn’t plan on this happening right?”
