Chapter Twenty-Seven

I woke up to the smell of food cooking and an empty bed. I looked at the clock and it said 7:30am which means it was too damn early for food to be cooked. I knew it wasn’t Kelsey cause she went to see auntie for the weekend. I rolled out of bed because I had to use the restroom real bad but didn’t want to get up since I was having a good dream; so the whole time I was telling myself I didn’t have to pee. When I got back from the restroom there was a note lying on my pillow. I looked around for Kameron but he was nowhere to be found. I picked up the note and read it:

Maybe a purse or even a shoe

Check the closet

And see what I left for you

My face instantly lit up and I ran to the walk-in closet. Sitting on one of the chairs was a perfectly wrapped gift with a red bow on top. I felt like a kid on Christmas. I hurriedly opened the box and it was a pair of Black Hidden platform stilettos with a hint of gold. They were gorgeous; under them was another note with a heart on the front.

Now you have a brand new shoe

Once again a smile touched my lips and I ran into the bathroom to find a black velvet box on the counter. I walked up to it and slowly untied the bow that held it together, and opened it. Inside revealed a pair of sparkling diamond earrings with a matching bracelet. The set was beyond my imagination and it looked too expensive for me to wear. Once again I found another note and read it.

Now I was completely confused, where was I supposed to go? I looked at the note trying to figure it out; I even flipped the note and the jewelry box upside down to find the clue, I got nothing. I hated things like this, it sucked all the fun out of receiving gifts. I sighed after coming up with nothing and went out back to the bedroom. To my surprise there was a short black sequined dress with sleeves that stopped at my elbows. This dress was beyond amazing. I ran to the dress and twirled around with it smiling from ear to ear. Then I thought about how it got on the bed when Kameron was nowhere to be found, no that I looked. So far I had new shoes, jewelry and a dress, I wonder what was next. I looked around for another note but there wasn’t one to be found. I guess that’s all I was getting. I looked at the clock and it read 8:45am. Might as well go see what was cooking.

I went downstairs to find a cupcake with on candle stuck in it and lit with a note beside it. I went and read the note.

I blew out my cupcake candle and made a wish. After that I went outside to see what was in the driveway. Once I had on the proper clothes I went outside and saw a baby blue Aston Martin Vanquish 2014 with a red ribbon on the top. I couldn’t believe it, he bought me a damn car! I ran down the stairs to get a better look. When I reached the car the door opened and Kameron stepped out. He scared the crap out of me which caused me to scream.
