Chapter Thirty-One

After the day we met Kameron mom, Kameron has been busy trying to figure out who is going to take over for him. He has been become extremely distant from me; he even started sleeping at his place. At first I was hurt that he would push me away especially with all the shit we have been through but maybe we really weren’t meant to be.  Kelsey moved in with her mother and honestly I think that is best. She still hasn’t fully recovered from losing her baby and right now she needs her mother. As for me I am just doing me, going to work, and letting life take over. We haven’t heard from Dee in a week and really he needs to stay gone after what he did.

Right now I am rushing around trying to get ready for work. I have picked up extra hours since I am by myself. Honestly I love working in fashion and has really got me thinking about going to school. I think I want to go to fashion design school and get my degree. I don’t want to be working under someone else my whole life; I want to run my own company.

I got to work just in time and my boss ran up to me happy. “Thank goodness you are finally here, I need you.”

“What’s going on,” I asked putting my things down. “Our new client is being a pain in my ass. I mean he is fine and everything but damn he is picky.”

“So let me guess you want me to handle the jackass?”

“I know you are the only one that can handle him. He will listen to you.” I sighed and said okay. I wasn’t really in the mood to deal with a jackass but hey it was part of the job. I went into the client room where he was waiting and got a huge surprise. When he turned around all I saw was a tall sexy ass man. He was six feet tall with a caramel complexion and grey eyes that drew you in. Man this man was sexy. “Who are you,” he asked looking at me. I snapped out of my trance and got back professional. “My name is Ariel and I am the person that is going to be handling your needs from now on.”

“Well, my name is Kacey and I wasn’t aware of you coming” he said looking at me up and down. “Yes, I hear you have particular needs that need to be handled and my boss feels like I am the right person to make you happy.”

“You make it sound like we not talking about clothes,” he said stepping closer. At this point I knew I needed to make sure he knew that this was strictly professional. “I don’t know what you are thinking but we are talking about clothes. Now you can either let me help you find the perfect clothes you want or you can take your business some where they meet your needs.” He studied me closely and then nodded. “Yea you will be perfect.” With that we got to work and like Lina said he was a jackass. Everything I picked out he would complain about it. I was almost at the point where I was going to cuss him out, he was working my nerves.

When I got home I was tired as hell and just wanted a nice hot shower. When I got to my bedroom Kameron came out of the bathroom. I almost screamed because I wasn’t expecting anyone to be here. “What are you doing here,” I screamed trying to calm down. “didn’t think I needed a reason to be here.”

“Well, when you decide you no longer want to stay here with me then hell yea you need a reason.”

“I just needed some time alone and plus I had business to handle.”

“So I am supposed to just sit here and wait for you to come back and decide that you want to be near me again.”

“I just needed some space so I could think.”

“Okay well now I need some space so I can think if I still want to be with you,” I said taking off my clothes and changing. “What the hell does that mean!”

“It means you left me Kameron for a whole week without one word about where you were. I came home and you were gone, the only reason I knew you went back to your place was because Biggy called and told me. If you really cared about me you wouldn’t have just left me here alone with some lame ass excuse talking about needing space to think.”
