Ariel POV

“Are you ready yet?! It’s been almost an hour and you still trying to do your hair,” Kelsey said as she walked into my bedroom fully dressed in a red strapless dress and black heels to match. Her hair put in a bun so you could see her diamond earrings her mom bought her. “I’m ready gosh let me just check myself out real quick and we can go,” I said looking in my full length mirror. I was wearing a black strapless dress that stopped right where my thighs ended and my knees begin with the same black heels as Kelsey. My hair hung down straight while I wore a sparkly diamond necklace. “Okay we can go now.”

So we arrive to the place and unlike Kameron’s usual parties, it is quite outside and there aren’t drunk teenagers everywhere. “Are you sure we are in the right place,” I asked Kelsey as we walked into the building. “I don’t know but come on so we can find out.” When we finally got to room and walked in, I was pretty sure we were in the wrong spot. There was chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, glass everywhere, and not to mention all the expensive things that sparkled when the light hit them. “Damn I know we are not in the right place cause this is defiantly not a Kameron party.”

“Look just come on and let’s see wat this is.” We kept walking until we found people we know and then realized this is Kameron’s party. Apparently he changed the theme of it last minute and me and Kelsey just so happened to dress semi appropriate. I left Kelsey and went to get a drink from the bar. As I got my drink I was nearly knocked over by a group of girls. I was about to say something until I saw it was Tina Markmen and her group. “Watch where you going pig,” she said taking my drink from my hand. This girl is the one girl I have hated since I met her in sixth grade. We were never friends and yet she treats me like a friendship gone wrong type of thing, every chance she gets she calls me names just to embarrass me. I hated her and that would never change. “I’m sorry I don’t remember running into you while you were standing perfectly still.”

“That’s because you are a fat bitch and just seem to take up so much damn room.”

“Wateva Tina,” I said walking away before she or her group could see the tears forming in my eyes. I was so wrapped up in masking my emotions I didn’t realize I was being pulled into a restroom by someone. “Hey are you okay?” I looked up and met Kameron’s eyes. “What do you want Kameron, I thought we already figured out there was nothing for us to talk about.”

“No, that’s what you said. I never said that and we do need to talk.”

“About what Kameron. What the hell do have to talk about!”

“About us!!”

“What about us Kameron? There is no us, you played me Kameron one minute you are in my bed kissing me and then I’m gone four days and I come back to hear you having sex with another girl in a closet.”

“I made a mistake, so what you just forget about what we could be.”

“You don’t get it, there will never be an us Kameron.”

“And why is that? I  got feelings for you and you got feelings for me so what’s the damn problem?!”

“The problem is you can’t have just one. You get one and then have to have three on the side and see I get it one day a girl will make you drop everything and every girl for her. But I’m not the girl, not only am I not good enough but I’m nowhere able to sit around and watch you make a fool of me. I can’t be the girl who sits at home naive to the fact that you are sleeping with every girl you can while you are telling me you working. I am not the right girl Kameron I realized this why don’t you,” I said trying to catch my breath while wiping my tears that were now coming at a steady pace.

“What if I change. What if I prove to you Ariel that I can be the guy that will treat you right. look Air I need you in my life more than you know it, this last month a lot has happened and I haven’t been able to talk to the person I trust the most. I need you, give me a chance to show you how much.” By this time I could tell he was fighting back the tears from his speech. He was breathing hard and moving around which means he was uncomfortable because he was not in control. Kameron loved to be in control no matter what the situation was, he had to be the one to control the outcome. “And how will you do that Kameron? This won’t just happen overnight, Imma need time and what about Lauren.”

“I broke up with Lauren the day I saw you in the mall.”

“So what everything is supposed to be normal between me and you. I’m supposed to just forget about everything and act like nothing happened.”

“No, this time you’re supposed to act like you actually have feelings for me,” he said walking closer to me which caused me to be backed up against the sink. “And how am I supposed to do that?” instead of answering he lifted me up on the sink and moved between my legs. He stared at me for minute before moving his face closer to mine and taking my face into his hand. “Kiss me.” I didn’t know how to respond so I just kept staring until he got tired of waiting and kissed me. He went slow at first and then went deep once he got permission. We were so involved in our moment we didn’t notice when his party turned from upscale to one of his usual out of control parties.
