"If he's too much, just let me know ok?"

~As the cheer captain started making her way to the rooftop, she heard someone calling her name from a distance. And it wasn't the cheerful setter who was usually pestering the girl,
"Y/N do you mind if I join you?" Her cousin, Iwaizumi, asked as he caught his breath.
She only shook her head, not giving him a verbal answer. Although the two were related, Iwaizumi was telling the truth when saying that they weren't close. They where nowhere near that.
When they made it to the roof, Iwaizumi only watched as she gracefully sat on the table that was there. Y/N noticed he was only standing there so she pat next to her, signaling him to sit.
Silence filled them as the pretty girl was only on her phone as if not really remembering she had company. Iwaizumi had wanted to speak to the his family about Oikawa, to make sure he wasn't coming off too strong.
"Um," He started, finally getting her to look at him, "I just wanted to talk to you and make sure Oikawa wasn't bothering you too much and to ask if you thought about cheering for us." He said, looking away from her.
"I dunno. I still have a month right?" She looked at her phone again.
"Yeah but shouldn't you prepare your team if you do decide to go?" He raised his eyebrow.
"Not really. I don't need to prepare what we already know" She softly responded.
Iwaizumi was surprised by her tone. Since the two never really talked, he was sure she would treat him coldly, just like she did everyone else. He assumed him being a relative was something that gave him a pass on her attitude.
"And Oikawa?" He asked.
"What about him?"
"Has he been bothering you."
She looked up from her phone and shrugged a bit, "Not really? Maybe at first but I figured if you can deal with him so could I. I have an annoying best friend too so it's really nothing new."
Then, another moment of silence.
"You don't like him, right?" He broke
There it was. The girl figured there was something more he wanted to get off his chest but she didn't want to pry it out of him.
"No. I don't ever plan to date your best friend so if you came here to "put in a good word" then you're wasting your breath. It'd feel like I'd be doing the whole 'dating my brothers best friend' billshit and that's a little cliche." She frowned.
"Good. It's better if you don't like him. He's hurt too many sweet girls and I did nothing to help them so I wanted to try and save you from him. Especially since your family. If it hurt you, Id have to hurt him." He admitted.
"Don't worry about me, Hajime. I can deal with Oikawa just fine." She said and he nodded,
"If he's too much, just let me know ok?" He sighed with a serious look.
The girl was about to respond when the roof door opened to reveal the boy they were just talking about. His face turned into a horrific look when he saw Iwaizumi there with the girl,
"Iwa-chan, what're your doing here?" He asked.
"Just wanted to talk to her. I'm leaving though." He got up from the table and walked to Oikawa and stopped, getting a grip on his shoulder, "Behave yourself." He warned before leaving.
Oikawa approached the girl and sat with her.
"So whatd you talk about?" He asked with a smile,
"Nothing important. He mostly talked. I wasn't paying attention." She lied.
Oikawa figured she was telling the truth since she's not really big on people, including this piece of family. He only hoped his friend didn't take their alone time to try and convince her to say no at his request for her to cheer for him just because he wanted to torture his volleyball captain.
"Well, I was wondering if you wanted to hang out this weekend? You could come over, we could have snacks and watch movies.." He suggested.
The cheer captain stayed silent as if she was thinking. She was going to say no but she also didn't want to deal with his whining when she told him no.
"Ok." Was all she said.
That was all Oikawa needed to get excited.
"Okay! Well I'll give you my address later! actually about that..." He suddenly got nervous,
The cheerleader didn't understand what he was trying to say but she had an idea on what it was,
"You need my number?" She finished for him and he nervously laughed,
"Yeah. I'm not so good at writing out these stuff and I think it's easier through text." He told her.
She grabbed a pen from her bag and grabbed his hand, causing a feint blush to spread . Once having a good angle, she began to write her number down.
"Well, I'll message you the details later tonight!" He said as the bell rang.
