~ "Zi and I were supposed to do this room!" She said.
"No! Iwa and I were going to do this room!" Oikawa replied.
After a bit of silence, she sighed as her eyes rolled, now understanding the situation.
She looked at the walkie talkie in her hand that the worker gave her so they they could give them clues and turned it on, "Zi, I'm seriously going to kill you for this. I'm not even kidding."
She let go of the button and it made a small noise, letting her know she was getting a response, "You two need to talk it out. You're being very childish about this. Just like, make out or something I don't know."
Oikawa, who was now very angry, quickly snatched the walkie from her hand, "Iwa, get me out now or else! I'm not playing right now!"
"No." Iwaizumi said from the other end, "Zi is right, you're both being childish. If you didn't want this to happen, you shouldn't have gotten into a relationship. Now be adults and talk because we're not letting you out until you do. Also, please don't make out cause we can see and hear everything from where we are."
The worker that was there had been bribed into leaving the group. Courtesy of Zi.
Feeling defeated, Oikawa sat on the small chair that was next to Y/N's only he faced the other way. A few minutes had gone by and still nothing. Watching this from outside, Zi felt very impatient and bothered. It was like the ex lovers just hated each other now. Almost like they never loved each other.
Finally, she sighed, "Let's just get this over with, yeah?"
He looked at her, "I have nothing to say to you honestly."
"Well can you hear me out at least?"
"I really don't think I-"
"Please?"
He hesitated before turning his body so that he was completely facing her, letting her know she has his full attention.
Her cheeks puffed up and a second until she exhaled, "I'm sorry. For what I said. It was honestly such a bitch thing for me to say. I was just upset and scared at the fact that you're leaving. I do love you enough to where I'd leave with you but my dream college is here. Getting accepted was a huge deal and I know I should've just said that but the way our conversation was going, it just, didn't."
The setter blinked a few times as he stared at her now red face. She was never really one for giving apologies for being rude or a bitch so everytime she did, she just gets embarrassed. And she's still not used to it.
As mad as he was at her, he couldn't deny that every reasoning that she's given him for not leaving with him is very valid. And besides, he adores this person endlessly. The second the two made eye contact, he immediately melted, drowning his all into a pool of love. He could never stay mad at her.
He softly nodded his head, "Alright. I get it. Y/N everything you've told me has been completely reasonable. I just let my feelings wash over everything and I got upset when you said you wouldn't come. As much as I want you with me, your future and everything you desire will all come if you stay here. I cant make you leave everything behind and I get that now. I'm sorry too."
She smiled, "Gradation is in a few days which means you don't have very long here anymore. But I want you to know that I truly wish you the best. I want you to achieve everything you've ever wanted because I want the people I love to be happy."
Catching her by surprise, he grabbed her hand and held onto it, "Same to you. And we can still keep in contact right? Like, I can still bother you if I get bored or just miss you?"
She laughed and nodded, "Definitely. You'll always be my best friend."
Her walkie turned on, "That's so fake of you Y/N." Zi's voice intervened.
She looked at the camera and placed her finger up to her lips, telling him to shut up.
Oikawa stared at her with such a loving gaze, "Are you sure you don't want to talk about doing long distance?"
Y/N let out a soft hum, "I want you to get comfortable there first. Once you're fully situated and certain I'm still what you want, then its definitely a conversation worth having."
"You're the only thing I want. You're the love of my life, remember?"
"Shh, not so loud. Hajime can hear you."
"You know for what he did to me today, I think I should get a pass on this." He declared.
The walkie turned on again, "You should thank me asshole. Hopefully now you'll stop crying to me about Y/N."
Oikawas face went red with embarrassment and he cursed his friend.
"Alright lovebirds, you've succeeded the escape room. I'll come open the door now." Zi informed them.
The two stood up from their chairs and Oikawa immediately pulled her into a hug. She waited a second before smiling and wrapping her arms around him.
When Zi opened the door, he let go of her. They walked out and Y/N automatically gave her friend a smack in the head. It pained him but he knew he had it coming.
"So, anyone hungry? We can get lunch to celebrate. On me!" Zi beamed as he rubbed his pained head.
"Oh you're definitely paying my food." The cheerleader mumbled and the rest laughed.
