~Oikawa smiled as he reached out a present towards his girlfriend, "It's midnight! Merry christmas, Y/N!"
Y/N, who was already starting to fall asleep, sat up straight and rubbed her eyes a bit, "Man, did we really have to stay up till midnight to open these stupid gifts?"
"That's the point of christmas! It's a rush and builds up excitement!" He told her.
She gave him an unamused look as she took the present from him, "Whose this from?"
"Your mom, i think. Check."
The cheerleader looked around the box until she found a sticker:

"Zi left me a gift? I thought me and him weren't doing gifts..." She mumbled as she unwrapped the box.
Inside was a pastel red cardigan that she was eyeing at the mall a while ago when she went with her best friend. She smiled as the clothing, mentally thanking her friend for remembering.
"Oo that's pretty! Try it on!"
"No. I'll try it on later."
"Okay,, me next! It's from my mom."
They may not have had much gifts under the tree since it was just the two of them but they sure took forever getting through them.
Oikawa grabbed one of the last three boxes, "This one is for me from you!"
She watched as he quickly ripped of the wrapping like a child. His eyes widened at the sight of what she got him, "Y/N.... you remembered?"
She smiled, "Duh. I'm not such a terrible girlfriend."
His lip quivered as he took out the item from the box, "You remembered how much I wanted this small alien figurine set! I love you so much!" He cried as he quickly hugged her.
The girl laughed a bit as he gave her multiple kisses against her cheek, "Okay, okay. You have one more to open."
She handed him the smaller box that was for him from her mom. Even she was curious to see what her mom could possibly have gotten her boyfriend.
