~Instead of doing his homework, Oikawa was just staring at his girlfriend, trying to figure out how to bring up the subject of college without actually talking about it just yet.

Her back was pressed against her headboard while he was laying on his stomach.

Finally, he thought of something, "So-"

"Shh." She quickly interrupted.

"I haven't even said anything yet!"

"I know. I'm just messing with you." Y/N told him with a smile.

He rolled his eyes, "Anyways! So, has your mom been bugging you about college yet?"

"Not really. She asked me maybe once? My answer probably satisfied her enough for her not to ask again." She responded, while continuing to do her work.

"Hmm. And what'd you tell her?"

"Just that I'm obviously gonna go but Im still gonna stay local. There's a university not far from here that I've heard a lot of good things about. I was thinking of applying."

Oikawa sat up, "Youre staying local? You don't wanna leave this place? You don't to explore the world?"

She shrugged, "Not really. Why? Are you going to college somewhere else? Like,, america or something?"

He didn't want to tell her the truth which was yes, he was looking to go somewhere else. He didn't want her to think about him leaving her.

So, he just shook his head, "Nope. I haven't really given it much thought. I've applied for someone local and only like one or two that aren't."

The cheerleader nodded her head and continued her work.

"Y/N."

"Hm?"

"Hypothetically, if I moved out of Japan, would you come with me? Like I don't mean now but-"

"No. I wouldn't." She said while blankly staring at him, showing she meant it, "I don't intend on leaving my mom here alone anytime soon."

"Ah, I see."

"Are you sure you're not thinking of leaving? The way you're asking these questions is-"

"Dont worry, I'm not going anywhere." He lied, "Besides, the love of my life wishes to stay here. How could I possibly leave?"

She scoffed, "Oh please. How are you already determining I'm the love of your life?"

The volleyball captain smiled, "Because you just are. I'm not going to love anyone who isn't you. You hold my entire heart, miss Y/N."

A hint of blush spread across her face as she smiled, "Whatever. You're stupid."

"What? Am I not the love of your life?" His question sounded more of a whine.

"I don't know. After all, this is just a high school relationship. Anything can happen."

He moved so that her arms were around his neck as she still held her work and his arms wrapped around her waist while he placed his head on her stomach, "Dont ever leave me Y/N! I'll never find a love like this ever again!"

Y/N let out a loud, long sigh as she placed her papers down and kissed the top of his head, "Youre so silly."

He lifted his head and puckered his lips, asking her for a kiss. She smiled as she rolled her eyes and pressed her lips against his before pulling away.

"Hey Y/N, I was gonna order some-" Her mom suddenly appeared at her open bedroom door and she looked at the current position they were in. However, Oikawa still stayed where he was, not really caring.

"I was just gonna ask if you guys wanted some take out..."

Oikawa smiled at her, "Perfect timing! I'm starving!"

Aiko softly laughed, "You got it. Y/N?"

"Whatever the guest wants." She replied.

The older woman gave them a thumbs up before disappearing.

The setter looked up at his girl, "I love your mom. I cant wait till she's my in-law."

As much as it annoyed Y/N, she secretly really loved when Oikawa collided their futures together. He tells her what his sisters are like so she knows what kind of future sisters she'll have as well as her future mom and dad in laws.

What kind of house would be good for them to have.

He specifically pointed how their should be a room only for her music and all the equipment she owned.

This made her feel like he was genuinely serious about their relationship and him being in it for the long run.

He really does want her to be with him forever.
