DOMINION: An Opinion

God gave Man Dominion.
Here written is my opinion.

Neither Prince nor Pauper am I
To be made  low by a Savage's blow;
To knee,  to bend, to crawl, to haul.
Who would chose to be a slave?
Not the Lords nor the Naives.

You took my land, my daughters
And  my wives.
You took my sons; shacked by words that bind
And to history and reality left blind
Manacled you stole their lives
You stole their worth
As they are buried in the dirt.

How Great you are to have discovered my home
Which for generations my Ancestors have known.
Homes the vestiges of Civilizations long buried and lost in time.
Grabbed and clutched in hands as you yell mine. Mine, MINE.

A thief in a foreign land .
What a savage Band
Whose Descendants now stand guard
Barring entry to my own yard.

You came from far and wide to steal rape and slaughter
When you chose to no longer negotiate and barter.

You tell me to go back to where I am from
So I stand tall and extend my hand.
What of you?
Do you know how long will be the journey?

You call me inferior
But cannot beat me in a fight
You cannot beat the so call inferior in a race.
You took my gold from the grasp of hands left cold.
You took my Culture carrying off bits of the carcass; bones  picked clean as if by a Vulture.

Running scared you fear the Dark
In the night
In the light.

You hammer me with your hatred.
The blows like a lightening strike
Feels like my head is struck on a pike.
Sparks fly in the crucible of my soul
Never to forgotten well past when I have grown old.

Another piece gone
Another memory forgotten in the morn.
Heat lost in the storm
Now a sword hard as steel you have bred
From the Anvil of your structural hatred.

I see paradise in your eyes
The reflection of your hateful torment
A fire you stroked with gleeful intent.
I am bent but not broken.
All to be said has not been spoken.
