Midnight strolls amongst the lost souls
Sellers and Dwellers within amoral cellars,
Preachers and Teachers of exotic bliss
Just to kiss This.
Angels and Demons of the dark.
Feral barks as they cluster within the parks.
Stepping around and about
Those who shout
With the many fears
The many stares.
A Conundrum
When the noise sounds dumb.
Where the shadows dwell
Tales are yet to tell.
Tied to our desires
Like coal that ignites our fires.
Yet smut smeared
With all that is feared.
Where lies the Beast
To slay and to feast?
Laying on the grill
To relieve the chill
Warm air caresses
And distresses
Urban living sculptures.
Up high, flies Economic vultures.
Swallow another poison pill.
Final thoughts are in the Will.
Midnight strolls amongst the lost souls
Blinding lights
And riveting fights
That leaves the masses with unequal rights.
Come One, Come All.
Join the lemmings at the wall.
The many Escher stairs
Passage ways to hate fairs.
Freedom reigns.
Red was what was shed
Red was what was bled.
Now it akin to lipstick stains.
Landscapes etched by acid rain.
No one takes the blame.
Will it be Venus kissed
Or will it succumb to Mars bliss?
Where shadows dwell
There are tales
Left to tell.
