The Plunge

27 7 7

I stood on the precipice between here and now
Contemplating if I should break the vow.
Before the lush valley spread wide
Landscaped across time by rock and mud slides
Multi coloured vegetation lines the sides.
The River below glistens along the length.
To take the plunge, have I the will or the strength?

As the light dims, as the Sun sets
The plunge becomes more thrilling
It becomes more inviting.
The Plunge becomes more delighting.

In the distance are twins peaks
That I have observed from a far for weeks.
A panoramic rush
Lush with Lust.
The Land my lady love
Seen from afar. Seen from above.
Adored with passion. Adore with Love.
