Six feet apart
A separation of body, souls and hearts.
Six Depth
Six feet wide
From side to side.
Above and below
As the wind blow.With an insidious grin
Encompassing all
Pestilence walk amongst us bold in its stride.
All about we run and hide.
A Demon of the air
A Demon of fear.Demons of the wind
Who elevates the heat;
Making heads spin;
Knocks us off our feet;
Places you six feet deep.Strides between empty buildings that stand tall
Like tombstones that houses no life at all.Will you weep for we
If we speak to thee?
Stay apart
Be a bad host
Live to raise a toast.Alone in homes across the nations
Social distancing the genesis of our social isolation.
There we lay wrapped in a blanket of fear
And covers of despair
with anxiety socks to wear.Buried six feet depth
In social isolation it is impossible for new loves to meet.Six depth.
Out of breath.
No one by our side
As we walk with ghosts six feet wide.
The distance to keep to avoid our breath
To avoid our death.Within our personal zones
Our only companions are our phones.
When will it end?
So we can meet families and friends
In the Square that is sunlit and empty
Where once we stood among crowds a plenty.Now only silent solitary voices echoes in the city's heart.
No one hears as we silently move apart.
Six depth
To avoid death.PDONEIL©️©️
