Seasons Of Longings

In my Seasons of  longing
In my Seasons of belonging.

I long for no more tomorrows
With no more sorrows.
No more pain
To be masked by the rain.

I long for yesteryears
Without the paralyzing fears
No more angry words
To scatter the birds.

I long for todays
To find my way
Upon a road navigated before
To the mystery of an open door.

I long for Autumn leaves
Drifting  to the cadence of a Summer's breeze
Between the pause of a Winter's sneeze.

I long for Spring's enchanting grin
To the gyration of Summer's sin
And Winter's frozen wind.

But most all
When Spring leads to Summer
And Winter follows the Fall
I long for you.
