Chapter 22

JIN SHIN

I am in the second floor of a huge restaurant with an amazing overlooking view of the city. I'm peacefully waiting for Suzie Young. I heard that this place is Hundai's property and only the executives of the said company and VIP businessmen members can dine in this beautiful restaurant. Our table is located in the middle edge section of the floor beside the window kung saan makikita talaga namin ang magandang tanawin. Like the first date, sinarado ulit para sa mga guests ang buong lugar upang pribadong magamit namin.

Halatang walang iniba sa interior arrangement ng restaurant. Bakante lang ang ibang mga tables at limitado ang staff. Wala akong makitang special design intended for the date itself. Mukhang nagbago na ang taste ni Director Young. There were no more excessive flowers and candles. The only romantic thing in the place is the beautiful view itself. Ang hindi lang nagbago ay ang mahigpit na security na mukhang mas hinigpitan pa. Mas madami ang mga guards na nakita kong nakapaligid kumpara sa unang date namin.

Ilang minuto pa ay natanaw ko nang naglalakad papalapit si Ms. Young. Tumayo ako nang makalapit siya. Nakangiti na agad nang malapad kaya nginitian ko rin siya. She's looking more matured because of her ponytailed hair and white suit outfit. Coincidence dahil nakasuit din ako, itim nga lang.

"Nice to see you again," I greeted and offered a handshake.

"Glad to see you again too." Nakipagkamay siya . Her hand wasn't cold anymore unlike before. Mukhang hindi na siya kabado ngayong ikalawang pagkikita namin.

I pulled the chair for her. "Thank you," ngiti niya.

"How are you?" kumusta ko habang umuupo na rin.

"I'm doing well. How about you? Ah of course, I know you're always busy and perfectly fine. Nagtanong pa ako para namang hindi kita laging pinapanood," she giggled.

"I see you're still our loyal fan." I laughed softly. Akala ko dahil sa pagtanggi ko nung una na makadate ulit siya ay nadisappoint na siya sa akin.

"Oo naman! I'll be a fan of DVX until the day I die," she proudly answered.

Naantig ako't kunway napahawak sa aking dibdib. "That's sweet. I'm always happy to personally know a fan like you. Pakiramdam ko isa ka sa mga fan namin na hindi kami iiwan through ups and downs."

"Yes. Definitely I'm one of them!" siguradong sagot niya.

I looked around. "Mag-isa ka lang bang pumunta dito?"

"Inihatid ako ng ate ko dahil medyo ninerbiyos ako nung paalis ng bahay. Saka gusto niya rin daw macheck nang personal at masiguradong mahigpit nga ang security ngayon dito."

Natuwa at na-excite ako sa aking nalaman. "Talaga? Director Young is here again? Maybe I can meet her this time. Where is she?"

Ngumiti siya nang alanganin. "Ibinaba niya lang ako sa entrance but I don't know if she's still there."

"Pasensiya ka na Suzie if I have to say this again like last time, pero okay lang bang iwan kita dito at tingnan ko sa labas kung nandiyan pa si Director Young?"

"O-Oo naman. P-Pero medyo may pagka-introvert yun baka mamis-interpret mo na suplada. I actually invited her inside so I can introduce her to you but she refused dahil ayaw niya daw makaistorbo."

"I'll greet her quickly. I won't make her uncomfortable." Masiglang tumayo ako at lumabas ng restaurant. It's not just an honor for me to meet the successor of Hundai but I also want to see the woman who possesses few similarities with Ms. Yura based on the descriptions I heard about her. 

My excitement were gone instantly nang makita kong wala nang nakatigil na sasakyan sa harap ng restaurant. Nagpalinga-linga ako ngunit wala na akong makitang naroroon maliban sa mga bodyguards na palakad-lakad at ilang mga nakatayo sa bawat sulok. The area is surrounded with tall and thick hedges so I can roam around without worries. Malawak ang labas ng restaurant at naisipan kung libutin nang mabilisan ang ilang parte nito. Ms. Young said she's here to check the security too so maybe she's parked somewhere.
