Part 10 (I messed up the last chapter a little, the Iceland game will either be a chapter or two after this one, this is the Germany game. Like I said I fucked up the last chapter, again thanks Vicky for the help)

After convincing Adam to tell Bombay, we finally went to his office. he was sitting there going over some plays so I knocked on the door lightly making him look at us.

B- ah Dakota I was just gonna go find you, oh an Adam? both come in sit sit

we listened an sat down in the chairs that were in front of his desk

B- what can I do for you two?

I looked at Adam who was looking at the ground clearly still not 100% okay with telling Bombay so I did what I had to do, I looked at Bombay before speaking

D- Adam's wrist is still hurting from the game against Iceland. he didn't want to tell you because he didn't want to be benched. I already did the stick test on him an he couldn't even hold it

Bombay sighed an looked at Adam

B- well uh let's take you to the ER to see what they say, if it's bad than I have to bench you okay?

Adam nodded an we all went to the ER(she already said she was going), we waited a while before we were even called back. I sat with Bombay in the room while they took Adam to X-rays

B- hey Dakota?

I hmmed in response showing him I was listening

B- I'm sorry for what I said to you about how you played an only worried about boys. I know I was wrong an you are a amazing player, I just let what Stasson was saying go to my head, I was being a..

i cut him off with a smirk

D- a asshole?

he chuckled with a nod

B- yes that word that you shouldn't use

I chuckled an adam came back in sitting on the bed, Bombay said he was gonna go get coffee so I sat on the bed in front of Adam

A- can I ask you something?

I nodded an he took a second before speaking

A- why did you kiss my forehead?

I felt the blush creeping to my face as he looked at me

D- i uh I guess just di-didn't think before I uh did it?

he nodded before giving me a small smile

A- well I can't say i didn't like it because that would be lying an no one likes liars!

my eyes widen a bit as he chuckled, Bombay came in right as the doctor did. Adam has a bone fracture so he will only be in a sling an should heal soon.  We ended up getting back to the dorms an I got to mine passing out almost right after. I got up the next day an we had a game against Germany, I wasn't nervous at all but it was gonna be weird not having Adam on the ice with me. I went on with my day with the team an the game came around quicker than expect, I was on the ice first with Charlie. (I'm just writing random) he skated down dodging players while Dean an Fulton were knocking down players, he past me the punk and I shot it in the goal. I smiled before looking at the bench where Adam was looking at me cheering loud as he sent me a wink making me blush again before the guys hugged me. The game went on, I was back on the ice in the 3 quarter skating down after the punk, I got the punk an started down with it. I got about half way down when one of the players hooked me causing me to trip while the other player checked me causing me to slid a crossed the ice and slam hard into the boards. 

Charlie skated over with Dwayne an helped me up right as I heard the ref's whistle, I looked and saw Dean and Fulton fighting the two players while Adam was yelling at them from the bench. Dean an Fulton got a penalty same with the other two guys making me chuckle as I skated to the bench, I sat down next to Adam removing my helmet an chugging my water

A- you took a pretty hard fall.. are you okay?

he was looking at me trying to see if i had any visible injuries making me chuckle

D- I'm okay Banks, only some bruising is all

he went to reply but Bombay sent me back onto the ice because he's mean like that. the game finished an we won of course, I was taking off my gear like usually in the locker room as Dean was ranting loudly about how he wants to beat those guys asses making me chuckle as Adam smirked

A- I'm with him on that, if I wasn't hurt they would be dead

I looked at him before ruffling his hair making him pout as I laughed

D- they would destroy you Banks, but thanks for trying to be my hero

now it was his turn to blush making me smirk as I pinched his cheeks making him try an slap my hands away with his hands 

A- you are annoying

D- but you love me thoughhh

he didn't say anything just stared as I grabbed my bag off the ground seeing as he is now speechless making my anixety grow so I panicked

D- uh dean! walk me to my dorm!

he looked at me like I was stupid

De- why you h-

I cut him off with my 'help me' look making him sigh

De- alright fine twat let's go

he grabbed his bag an I jogged over to him before we left the arena heading to the dorms

De- what went down with Banks? do I have to kill him?

I shock my head nervously picking at my nails, Dean placed his hands over mine pulling my apart

De- stop doing that before you hurt yourself, now explain

I groaned an put my arms to my sides

D- I was messing around with Banks an he said "i was annoying" as I joked so I replied with you love me though!! I hate myself now  because I made him feel awkward an UGGHH!!

De- he didn't say anything back?

I shock my head 'no' making him chuckle as I looked at him annoyed

D- It's not funny!!

De- I'm sorry, I'm not laughing at you I'm laughing about how dumb you are!

I scuffed an walked faster into the dorms 

De- Dakota come on! I was kidding!

I flipped him off still not turning around before running up the stairs to the my dorm, I slammed the door once I got in and plopped into my bed face down. I hate myself at times.
