I was about to get into Tony's car to leave back to Casey's when I heard footsteps coming towards us, I turned my head two seconds before Adam smashed our lips together. it hurt because our heads collided but I didn't pull away just kissed back. I held onto the side of his face before he pulled away holding my hips (yuckyyy)
T- Dakota, come on now.
I sighed and kissed Adam one last time before getting into the back of the car, I waved by to Adam before Tony drove off driving me to Casey's. I walked inside an left my suitcase by the door before heading over to the phone to give my amazing mom a call.
(on the phone)
E- hello Portman's residence, Emerald speaking. if your looking for my kids, they are gone for a bit!
formal much an nice to know you noticed we were actually gone mom.
D- hey mom, it's Dakota
E- Ah sweetheart what a lovely surprise! what brings you to call me since you never actually talk to me?
D- well uh I'm sure dipshit didn't tell you but I got expelled from Eden
radio silence on the other end of the phone before she spoke
E- YOU WHAT?! Dakota Marie Portman what did you do?! AND STOP CALLING SCOTT THAT!
ha at least she knew I was talking about him.
D-okay it wasn't my fault!
I had to sit here an explain it all to my mom, guess what. SHE DIDN'T BELIEVE ME, typical.
E- you always blame your father for everything that happens. have you once considered that maybe it was your fault?!

I heard her sigh on the other end of the phone and I wanted nothing more than to throw the phone at her head
E- whatever Dakota, I will see you once you get here. goodbye
I scuffed an just hung up the phone annoyed with my mother before I went to Char's room an made sure all my stuff was packed. not even 10 minutes pass an Charlie comes in
C- I heard what went down, I'm so sorry Dakota..
I sighed an stood up as he hugged me, I hugged him tighter really not ready to leave
C- I don't want you to go!!
D- me either Char but hey I will visit when I don't got school or hockey
C- you better, i don't know what I would do without you!!
we pulled apart an Adam came in
A- hope I'm not interrupting

C- nope not at all, see ya Dakota fly safely!
he waved bye before leaving the room as Adam rolled his eyes
D- jealous much
he clearly chose to ignore my comment to his response.
A- I came to ask you something
D- and what might that me?
A- come out with me one last time, wanna take you somewhere before you go?
he gave me this weird ass puppy dog face making me laugh an nod
D- yes I will if you stop making that stupid ass face!
he pretended to be offended but chuckled as I pushed him out of the room so I can change, once he was out I got changed into something less preppy an a little more me, in a way (ignore the purse)

I sighed an walked out of the room and Adam smiled before grabbed both our skates showing me we were going to the rink. we got to the rink an immediately got into our skates and got on the ice skating around laughing like children on a sugar rush. he skated over to me and held my hand as we started skating laps
A- I wanna go home with you.
I stopped fast almost knocking us both over, I let go of his hand making him turn to me
D- no no fucking way!

A- D come on..
I shock my head clearly mad
D- you have a chance with this school Adam! you have friends an hockey here! you can make something out of your life here, don't throw it away for me over because I won't be here!
A- that's the thing! I will throw it all away for you D because I love you and want to be with you where ever you go!
D- Adam we can't be together if you come to Chicago don't you get it?! the whole reason this mess happened was because our dads don't want us together so if you go we would be finished!
he looked at his skates upset with what I had said making me hold onto his hands again
D- look, I wanna be with you all the time no matter what but we can't not for right now.. we will make it work Adam okay?
he looked at me an kissed the top of my head before pulling me into hug, Casey walked in with Dean making me sigh and skate off the ice with Adam. I took off my skates and handed them to Adam before he kissed my cheek and I ran over to Dean an hugged him
De- Fly safe kid!
D- I will, thank you for everything Dean.. I will see you again soon! (*in her thoughts: even though this is your fault..*)
he nodded as we pulled away an I followed Casey out to her car as she said she already put my suitcases in the trunk before she drove me to the airport. *skip the flight because boring* I landed an grabbed my suitcases before catching a cab home since my parents are too lazy to come get me. assholes. I paid the driver with the money I stole from my brother before walking inside where my mom was sitting on the couch drinking her wine before looking at me
E- you are finally here!
she got up an hugged me as I barely hugged her back before she pulled away
D- so you gonna ground me or what?
she thought about it for a moment before shaking her head
E- at first yes but than I realized I haven't seen you since you got out of jail so I need you to tell me everything that's happened not leaving out a thing or you will be in trouble
I chuckled an nodded before setting my stuff by the stairs than taking a seat on the couch next to her before telling her everything that has went down from the second I got out of jail till now and trust me it was a long story and she wasn't ready for it. not at all.
