the next day rolled around an I was so tired.. I felt this warmth all around my body an could hear someone's heart beat. I lifted my head slightly an saw I was still wrapped in Adam's arms. I looked over at his alarm clock an saw that we don't have to be at the airport until 3 an it's only 5 so I carefully got out of Adam's grip trying not to wake him before heading to the bathroom to shower.

I still chose this style since I have to attend school an stuff for the last day there. Was i excited? yes but did I want to leave my friends again? no. I walked back into Adam's room an he was sat up stretching
A- morning
D- morning lazy
he chuckled an stood up, me just now realizing he didn't sleep with a shirt on 0//0. I looked away fast an turned on his light as he started grabbing something to wear
D- do not wear that vest!
he chuckled as I turned back to him seeing him holding the vest
A- than what would you like me to wear D?
I smirked an walked over to his closet looking for something, I grabbed out a ducks hoodie an threw it to him before grabbing some black jeans and tossing them to him as he stared at them
D- go put them on!
he looked at me confused
A- but these are outside clothes, not-
I cut him off but dragging him to the bathroom an shutting the door
D- meet me down stairs when you are dressed!
I grabbed my school bag before walking downstairs where Zina was finishing up breakfast
Z- good you are up! is my little Banksie up?
I tried not to chuckle at the nickname she gave him but I still managed to nod
Z- awesome! sit eat up, I will pick you both up right after school an we will zip to the airport!
I sat down at the table as she set my plate in front of me with some water, I thanked her before starting to eat as Adam came down stairs
Z- ah you look cute in that hoodie! it's nice to see you wear something other than a vest!
I chuckled at what she said as Adam sat next to me starting to eat his food
A- how can you just wear this stuff? it looks like I'm homeless
I looked at him pretending to be offended
D- so you are saying my style is homeless?
A- well if the shoe fits
I flicked his forehead making him laugh as we both continued to eat, it was time to get to school so we both said goodbye to his mom after putting the dirty dishes in the sink before taking off to school.
A- can I ask you something?
D- go right ahead

A- why do you change your style? like compared to how you dressed in LA it's way different than how you dress now
D- well in LA no one knows who I am so I can be the person I wanted to be but here I have too much of a history to change my looks, people would just think I'm putting up a front
he nodded showing he was listening as we continued to walk to school, we walked in and he followed me to my locker so that I could put my lunch in there. I hit the locker an did what I was planning to do when I was doing that I heard footsteps approaching us already knowing it was my friends
S- hey! oh Adam Tommy has something for you
I turned my head to see Tommy giving Adam a chocolate bar
T- sorry for what I said yesterday, didn't mean to upset you
Adam chuckled an looked at Tommy with a smile
A- it's all good no hard feelings
I figured I would wait until lunch to tell them since that was probably the only time we had alone. I sat in class with Sam since Adam an the rest of my friends had a different class, I was bored out of my mind when Matt ran in. I looked at him confused as he locked eyes with me
M- Sam, Dakota come now!
we both looked at each other before getting up walking out the door
D- Matt what is it?
he had this huge smile on his face which confused us even more
S- come on Matt spill it!
M- Adam is fighting with one of the juniors!
my eyes instantly widen, I ran start to the classroom where I knew he would be an ran in. the teacher was trying to pull them apart as Adam kept ludging at him, I can see Dean sitting in the corner of the room pretty amused by what was happening. I walked over to them an got right in between putting my hands on Adam's chest stopping him for going forward
A- D let go.
D- no dude! it's only our second day! you aren't gonna get ISS already!
A- it won't matter anyways since we will be leaving!
I knew my friends heard that so I would have to explain that afterwards, the boy was still trying to fight Adam so I turned to him locking eyes as he glared down at me
D- leave him the hell alone Chris
Ch- why you telling me that?! he started it by jumping at me!
I rolled my eyes before shoving back Chris
D- I won't fucking repeat myself leave him the HELL alone.
Chris didn't say anything as the teacher sent Adam an I to the office. I was annoyed that we were going out like this but I'm happy we are leaving, we were about to walk into the office when Sam called our names
Sa- Dakota, Adam! what do you mean your leaving?
I looked at them rubbing my face
D- we got accepted into a preppy school to play hockey with a full scholarship!
M- where is that school?
D- it's called Eden Hall it's in MN
T- so you are leaving again?
I nodded as they looked at each other clearly upset that I was leaving but they ran over an hugged us both
Sa- we will miss you guys!
M- make sure to kick their asses though
T- don't go full preppy on us Dakota
I chuckled an nodded before Adam an I went into the office.. let's just say we got into some major trouble, me more than him. I know stupid right, it's because my "dangerous" behavior needs to be stopped. these idiots.
