Part 36 (sorry for the slow updates, school has been keeping me pretty busy ! @Vickystories21)

after a while Adam still didn't come back so I grabbed my skates an headed outside the school to meet Charlie. I walked out an he waved at me as I walked over

C- hey Dakota

D- hey Char

C- where's Banks?

I shrugged my shoulders making him nod

C- well let's just go an he can met us there?

D- works for me

we walked to the pond, we put on our skates and started to skate which caused us to get into a deep conversation

D- tell me about yourself, I feel I never got to know you

C- well um I live with my mom, I have been playing hockey since i was 5, my dad left when I was just a kid, I was a troubled kid growing up

D- is that why you are so attached to Bombay if you don't mind me asking

C- yeah it is, I kind of look up to him as a father figure

D- I get it, has he always been around for you?

C- yeah he is the one that started to PeeWee hockey team for us and made us the ducks, yeah he tried to bail 2 times but that's besides the point

I nodded as we continued to skate we both got tired after a while an put back on our shoes before walking to this little shop that was selling drinks so we walked over an ordered when I saw someone stand next to us so I turned to see Quinn an her boyfriend Gabe, she looked right at me as I rolled my eyes

 Q- Dakota can we please talk?

D- I have nothing to say to you

Char looked at me confused as he grabbed our drinks

Q- than just listen

I looked at her as Char handed me my drink so I mumbled a thank you to him

Q- look I came up here because I realized I made a mistake leaving before, you and Dean needed me and I took off because i was afraid after loosing Devin, I know that doesn't make a excuse for me leaving but it's why I did. I want to be in your life again Dakota, I miss our relationship and how close we were when we were kids

D- well guess what Quinn? I don't miss it. you took off when we all needed you the most, you weren't the only one who was affected by his death. you were selfish to leave! you are a self absorbed person Quinn an I don't want you in my life

Q- Dakota come on! this is childish you a-

I didn't let her finished before I punched her right in the nose, Charlie quickly dropped his drink an wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me away from my sister as Gabe checked on Quinn whose nose was gushing blood. Charlie let go of my waist an grabbed my wrist dragging me away from the scene

C- I ain't gonna lecture you because that was pretty funny

D- my hand hurts!

C- geez I wonder why

we both laughed as we walked to Eden. we walked in an I saw Buckley taking to Adam so I told Char I would meet up with him later an walked over to them just to hear the converstation

Bu-fighting in this school is not tolerated Mr. Banks! I don't care if you are trying to defend someone violence isn't the answer

I stood by Adam an looked at his face, he had a busted lip an a ice pack on his eye making me roll my eyes an pull out the photo handing it to Buckley who took it

D- that's what Rick Riley gave me which set off Adam, I'm sorry he got into a fight with Rick he really shouldn't have. please don't punish him

Buckley sighed an looked at us

Bu- I have to punish him but it won't be anything to bad, Mr. Banks you will clean the CAF for a week since this is your first fight, deal

A- yes sir

he smiled at me before walking into his office, I grabbed Adam's hand an dragged him back to our dorm slamming the door as we walked in

D- why the fuck did you fight him?!

A- he didn't have the right to give that to you! I had to do something!

D- this isn't your fight Adam, I should be the one to deal with my own fights not have my boyfriend do it for me! I should be the one who gets in trouble because it's my fight!

A- I'm your boyfriend Dakota! I'm gonna protect you even in that means getting into fights! I don't care if this is your fight, I'm gonna intervene because that's what boyfriends do!

D- I don't need my god damn boyfriend to stick up for me! I have been doing that on my own for years, I don't need your fucking protection Adam!

A- I don't care if you need it or not! I will always protect you no matter what! you are just gonna have to get over it Dakota!

D- I won't get over it! stop intervening in my problems, god I should have never told you about it!
