Chapter 7

I run to try to keep up with Poltian. Pane stays by my side. We go through halls and rooms. I even see some of my family. As Poltian talks to one of the staff, Pane lowers down and whispers, "I'm sorry about yesterday night, you have beautiful singing though.", I look at him as the redness flush my cheeks and do a low giggle. My dad comes around and says, " Hey, honey.", my eyes widen as I watch him walk away. "What is it? ", Pane asks. He looks around. "No, just my dad. He's never said that to me for as long as I can remember.", I say. Its true. I didn't think I remember him saying honey to me since I was very little. "Oh, never new. Is he usually a grinch.", he asks. I nod. "What is your gift?", I ask. Poltian continues to argue with the staff. "I can control time altogether.", he says. "My sisters do that. The only difference is Sarah can go through time and Christine can stop time.", I say. "Can you stop it now.", I ask. This time, he looks into my eyes. In a wave of his hands, everything stops, there's total silence. I look around trying to find a single move. None. Then we look into each others eyes for a very long while.

We walk around the castle. Testing and looking at things. And mostly talking. Since I've never seen Sarah or Christine use their gifts, it's new to me. After, to my calculations, 3 hours, we go back to our places and before he waves his hands I ask, "Can we do this again? ", he looks at me again and says, "Probably.", and in a wave, everything comes back.

The next morning is more slow. Not until an android delivers message from somewhere else. A blue light comes up and shows Jayce and, to my surprise, the girl I saw at the mall that day, she gave me that cold, dirty look. "From Antinium, we would like to have visit to Tragia, my sister and I. Only of course to meet the new queen. Let us know.", he says and the light goes off. "Oh, we have a date.", Poltian squeaks and turns to me, "We have planing to do.", and after that being said, I'm on the track and field again. We plan the dinner and dances and presentations. Even conversation starters. Finally, lunch. But when I thought it was Pane and me, I was wrong. Poltian sat there blabbering the whole time about how fun it will be. At 5:00, its dress up. And Pane is there the whole time also Levy. "Alright, time for your bath!", Glendal and Ferra walk toward me, but stop when I put my hands up and take a step back. "Oh, fine.", Glendal sighs. Levy and Pane both laugh and his smile again stops my breathing. I take a refreshing shower and take my time with, unknown weird products that smell really good. Theirs one that you only put at the bottom of your foot. The designers agrees to let me dress alone as well. I wear a black dress with a big, tight silver belt that wraps around my stomach. They introduce me to silver shoes that have no heel, (again) and a sleek, reflection design. As if looking a mirror. I can feel Panes eyes one me, but everytime I look, he looks away. But I don't feel nothing against that. I don't even know if he wants to be friends.

Now, I am leaded to a different dinning room. A bigger one. Enough to dance around and have a million tables. Next to a big window on the left is a giant table with a feast already. I sit at the end of the table. It is very black and sleek. Pane stands at one of the sideways with another guard. Then the king and princess of Antinium, Jayce Anium and Lomatoda Anium, are presented (brother and sister). Jayce sitsvat the other end of the table, but keeps his eyes fixed on me.) I look away and take a glance at Pane, who remains still and silent, his jaw clenched. He must not like the Antiniums. Or Jayce worse. Then I look at Cammy, who is the total opposite. Her eyes stare at him in dreamy eyes as she's struggling to keep breathing. She looks like she wants to climb over and kiss him, and keep him locked in her arms. We all talk to eachother. They try to get Jayce into conversations by asking question. But he gives a simple answer to shake it off and keep his eyes on me. Nobody seemed to notice, which was weird. Finally, dancing. Jayce gets a hold of me first. "If you aren't from here, why'd you come to Earth? ", I ask. He has his hands on my waist and upper back. "Just trying to keep the peace treaty a line. It does serve a great use to us.", he says. I can feel him trying to lower his hand from my waist, but I pick it back up. He is cute and handsome but isn't my type. The dancing goes on for a while, but at least we switched at every song. Finally, it all ended and I meet Pane and we both rush out without a word. "Tommorow is training for you.", he manages to say. "What training? ", I ask. "Well, a queen has to defend herself. You will learn how to use weapons and-", I cut him off, "Kill someone with bear hands, I can do that.", I say. Its not like I'm a softy and all girly like. I take off my clothes and sleep in my underwear because I am to tired to do anything and sink into a dream.
