Chapter 23

We pull in the middle of no where. But it wasnt just nowhere. The dark violet ground sparkled with diamonds and crystals as a giant giant moon hung from above orbited with others. The stars sparkled and gave out colors of different kinds. It was a beautiful nowhere. He takes a bag from the back, opens my door and takes me out. I stare at the sky, not even noticing that he is pulling me so I can walk. I have never seen this before, not even in pictures. "We came here yo finish where we left off in training. Also, to be alone." He sets the bag down and stands there waiting for me to to something. I gulp and lift my hands the reveal a bright purple light. It turns in circles like planet and I make become faster and bigger. Then I throw it up in the air and it turns into a comet that circles around me fast and lifts me off the ground. I feel my eyes glowing brighter and brighter. Below me Pane seems amazed. I land back on the ground as the comet disappears. "Do something else." He says. My eyes start to glow again as giant crystal lift themselves sharply fron the ground, creating a cage around us. Pane walks over to touch but in quikly goes underground, and the rest follows. Then I try something else.

Finally, exhausted, I lay on the ground staring at the sky. He does the same as his eyes reflect the stars. "Have you ever seen anything like this on Earth?", he asks. "Never.", I respond and consentrate on his calm and relaxed features. "What if you could tun away from this place, and never come back, where would you go?", he asks. "I dont know. Venus?", we both laugh. "Probably.", he says and closer to hold me. "Do you want to run away?", I ask. "It depends. If I'm running away with you."
, I smile and snuggle against him. He is all mine. For today and forever, hopefully.

In my room, Pane is fast asleep, but I cant even blink. I wriggle out of his embrace and ho out in the hallway. I dont know what I'm doing, but it better be good. I walk around and dtop in front of Cammy's room. I open the door and find a light. The room has white furniture with some of her stuff and others she'll need. I wonder if she took something anything. Before I go to the closet, something catches my eye. There's a paper on her dresser next to the bed. When I take a closer look, I realize it's a letter from Cammy:

Dear fam,
I'm sorry for what I've done and so much I'm putting you through. I wish you can understand the way I feel. But the only thing I can manage to say is this; I dont want war. In fact, I dont want to be here. Where we are, in Tragia, I dont think it's right. Besides, I like it Antinium better than here. I think over there, theres more challenges and dolutions to everything instaed of things being done for you. I even dream about what a life I can have over there. I hope you understand this because, yes, I'm crappy at writing or making any sense sometimes.

This makes my chest ache and my legs can't support me any longer. I take a seat on her bed in quietly cry. I now realize another reason she left. She's in lovr with Jayce. I can tell by the way she reacts everytime he came around. She will beleive every single lie that comes from his mouth. And then her heart will be broken so badly. But she still wont blame him, but me.

I go back to my room and rinse my face. I hope that since I cried so much, I will be able to sleep tonight I slowly lay back down but Panes eyes flutter open. "You okay?", he still sounds a sleep. I look at the letter on my dresser. "Yeah.", finds his embrace on me again and we both fall.

Cammy POV

The plan falls mire and more. The bidy guard and Helen spend more time together and ignore Tetia completely. Everytime I see them on the screen my blood boils up. I cant even beleive I can build up so much hate for Helen. Doing something so horrible and laugh about it. She must be sick!

Today, Jayce stays in my room for a while. He embraces me and we talk. Before he leaves, he gives me another kiss in the lips goodnight. I'd like to know if it is official? If I have won him over. I dont want to ask him yet, I dont think we should go very fast. Even though I want him, badly.

I wake up in a bad mood. I try to lighten it as I enter the dinning room. I eat breakfast silently and go to training. Jayce told me I need to stay strong while I'm here. So, I do as much as I can. Its only sometimes he doesit with me or watches me. After, I go to lunch. When, I'm half way through, a woman comes rushing. "Sir, we have an emergency, its Tragia.", she says. "Stay here.", Jayce says and quikly gets up. I'm guessing he wont be here in a while, so I continue with my meal and go to my room.

Helen POV

Just when the android is about to serve me my plate, it drops. A red light comes on and alarms go off. Pane rushes to the balcony at the sound of screaming. I follow and we both look at the sky. A giant, what I think, asteroid on fire is already close and gettting closer. Panes eyes widen. There is no hope that we would be saved. Unless. . . . . . . .

I close my eyes and concentrate. I wave my hands as high as I can and form a circle. I open my eyes as the shield settles on tge outskirts of the city. A giant boom takes place as the asteroid hits the shield and explodes outside. Everyone is just staring in amazment and disbelief. I can feel Pane turning his attention to me as my violet eyes get brighter and brighter. Finally the explosion stops and rocks fall from the sheild to the ground. Poltian comes running to me and realizes what I'm doing. "Well out of my whole life. . . .", he whispers. I saved Tragia. This giant new city.

Once everything slides of, I let go and gasp. Pane catches me before I collapse. I feel like all my energy is draibed and I cant keep my eyes open anymore. . . . . .
