Chapter 25

I can't beleive he lied. About everything. What does he want from me. All I hear is Pane banging on the door begging to let him explain and apologize.
"Go away, Pane, I've had it. Leave me alone." I yell through my sobs.

It's 3:36 when the banging stops. I slowly open the door and look both ways and see nobody. I step out when someone yanks my hand. I scream but the person covers my mouth. I'm crying now because I know it isn't Pane who sticks a towel up my mouth.
"Silence." the man says and I hear a woman whisper something. I dont recognize none of there voices. I try to jerk away from there grip but its not enough. As soon as I am about to set a sheild to get them off, something is cuffed to my hand and I cant do or use anything. What is going on? What are they going to do? I scream as loud as I can again but I am pushed to the ground and I feel a big kick across my face and everything goes black.

Cammy POV

Jayce said that someone very important is coming and he cant tell me who yet. I get worried and excited at the same time. Is it a surprise person? I try to think of someone that I know and would surprise me. But no one comes up in the old noggin. I sigh on my bed. I guess I'm thinking to hard of who it is. I try to let go but the desperation comes over me again. I get up from my bed and walk around the halls. Thats when I heard a giant yelp and ran towards it. I saw a girl with short hair fall to the ground. Jayce came and picked her up roughly. I see his jaw go upward smiling and I saw who it was. Helen.

"Jayce, what is she doing here?" I ask. My fury is escalating. She looks at me but cant even find breathe for words.
"She was tresspassing with others. They are being taking to custody." he says simply.
"He's lying." she chokes. I realize her lip is cut and there's a bruise across her face. What happened? I'd love to ask but Jayce and some other men take her away. As much as I want to beleive him, I have a spark of doubt and I'm afraid it might ignite.

I turn away and slowly walk back to my room.

Helen POV

"You lied to her." I croak. How could he be so cruel?
"Shut-up!" he yells and slaps me again. My vision blurs with black and purple, but I survived it this time. I spit in his face and run for it. He screams and I feel a pair a feet run after me. A great weight comes over me and I fall. My whole body aches. I try to fight off Jayce but he's to strong. He wraps me with his muscular arms and puts me in the bright, empty room. I only see a bench.
"I'll take you out when you cooperate." he says and the door closes.

How could this be happening? The kiss then this? I cry like a baby again and collapse to the floor. If only Pane were here to save me from this misery. To sweep me from my feet and lay me down on my bed llike we used to. But that wont happen now or after. I curl up in a ball and cry myself to sleep on the floor fall asleep on the floor.

I wake up sore. I dont even know what time it is or is it light outside or not. Beside me on the wall, a square pops out and hands me a covered plate. I take it slowly and place it on the floor. I'll starve to death if I have to get out of here. A blue homograph of Jayce comes up.

"Eat." he orders. I open the lid and find a white oatmeal, but more watery with no oats. I would question what is it but the homograph went off, and all cameras on the wall are on me. I pick up the spoon slowly and start swallowing everything down, not giving any time to taste it. Once I'm done, the square hole comes back and I place the plate in there and slowly get up. In a few seconds, white-suited men come in and pull me roughly by the arms. They take me into the room next door which is bassically a plain bathroom. I hug myself and cry as I take a shower wondering what would happen to me. A white jumpsuit is folded on the counter. I look in the mirror at the black bags under my eyes. I look fine but feel horrible. I'd rather die than be here. You never know, Jayce can do anything to me now. Fighting back brings consequences. I slip on the jumpsuit and walk out the door. The guards take me immediately and walk to my room. That's what I thought before we passed it.

"Where are we going?" I ask but receive no reply.

We keep walking and practically throw me indide another room. This time it has a mirror eith two other guards watching me. I hear the door open as two pairs of feet come in.

"Get up." Jayce orders. I keep my eyes ob the ground and slowly get on my feet. I already know Cammy is right beside him, supporting him in each move.

"Why did you come?" he asks.

"I didn't come, you took me. Or at least those who work for you." I say simply .

"Dont lie." he spits.

"Well I'm not the one lying here. You stuffed her ears with lies. Now she wont beleive a single word I say. I bet if I told her you asked me to marry you, I refused abd that started war. Or how I figured you sent Tetia to get information on me do all this," I lift my hands, "Could work. But she wont beleive me, right?" I take my eyes to Cammy. She quickly walks out and Jayce could barely look at me. Soon, he follows.

I sink to the floor helpless. How could this be happening? How can be Cammy falling for someone who is such as liar and wretched. I feel so sorry for her. Het heart will be broken as much as mine. Tgen Pane comes to thought. I love him so much. I squeeze my self trying to remember how it felt being next to him. He gave me an amazing feeling that cannot be replaced. Ever.
